Oh Jeez What

So, despite this being a Gaia suck, believe me I joined prepared for a lot of stuff and because I enjoy pitting my older male cowboy bard wanderer against fixer sues and powerhungry demonboys for fun. Aside from some character silliness to be expected from Gaia the girls on this particular thread aren't too bad. A few of the people from my forum ( Read more... )

I... would not want to miscarry in front of a vampire. Yikes.

Still, at least she didn't pull a whiney flouncy exit. Sounds more like someone got overexcited and picked a bad time for a plot point. Even so, wow.

Yeah it was interestingly though out but it was a bad time and place for people involved more OOC than IC. Annnnd it could have gotten the thread deleted on top of everything else.

I mean, ICly it's not like anyone plans to miscarry but yeah. I'd be getting away from that vampy kaythanks.

Well yeah, I imagine I wouldn't have much choice in the matter. Still, would not be fun. Not that miscarriages generally are.

But yes, bad move on the player's part, as OOC reasoning should have told them better. Realism in pretendy funtimes should only apply so far.

There was a girl on my server in WoW, who had the same dramatic attention whore issue. Myself and a group of friends were RPing in the middle of a major city, and she comes walking up. Completely uninvited for one (she had a reputation with the entire server for being a horrible Rper, immature, and just generally a pain in the ass - nevermind the fact that she claimed to be the "Princess of Silvermoon", because she was the "Daughter of Lor'themar Theron and a troll". Several people, much to their credit, politely tried to give her some pointers, even on how to play the backstory she wanted to play, sans the lore-crushing, but she'd have none of it ( ... )

I really hope she learns from it. Like I said up there besides her occasional DRAMATRAUMA she's got some potential. Sounds like the one you dealt with was a lot less down-to-earth and a lot more batshit-like-whoa.

Batshit doesn't even describe it. She started doing the whole "I'm having a baby gais! GAIS! HEY!", starts going into detail about it, etc. So I finally turn to her OOC, and go "You know. We've asked you nicely to leave. I'm done being nice. You're harassing us now. This is your last chance. Leave, or I'm reporting you. Take that look-at-me bullshit, and carry it somewhere else."

She didn't say anything for a couple mins, logged out, and then I start getting whispers from her "Older brother" who tries to tell me it's his "10 year old mentally retarded brother". And swearing up one side and down the other. So I put him on ignore, he hits me with another alt. I tell him I have a hard time believing that a.) this player he claims is his "brother" is 10, let alone mentally disabled, and b.) he's violating the TOS by rolling alts to harass me. And that I've reported him.

Three more alts later, a GM finally shut him up. I haven't seen him since.

Drama Trauma. And who the hell thinks that is a good idea, ewww. I rather her pull a whiney flouncy exit them drop a still born baby on the floor. Reminds me of the shit I put with in an old rp group, had a Trauma Drama whore that was the mod as well. Miscarriage was the least of what she would do.
