Hi, new poster and recent lurker, so on and so forth. I was directed here by a friend after dealing with a GM suck, which is still incredibly frustrating for me to think about. So, I'm going to do what I do best and vent like crazy.

Oh pft. I don't mind boobs in general. It's just... well, difficult to explain unless you see the pictures themselves. They were all manner of 'charming'. <.<

Wow... just wow. I'm always lurking on this forum (never posting. Huzzah!) and I have to say... that was one epic tale of fail. I've had my run ins with batshit crazy RPers and GMs before, but the fact that you actually stuck that out for so long really makes this impressive.

I recently left a game that was giving me pretty epic levels of aggrivation as well. Started up my own instead. :) Not big, not fancy, but it's mine and it makes me happy. Hope you manage to find something new to play with. For every crazy out there, there's a handful of not-crazy RPers as well.

Now that I read back over it, it's quite intimidating how long and ridiculous it got. I guess I was in that 'oh, it's not all bad' stage that people sometimes get stuck into. |D;

I'm very tempted to start up my own game, actually. At least that way, I could do something that interested me and filtered out the crazies!

Have no idea what to do though. o.o;

I understand you being upset and all but I wanted to say that it disturbs me when people go "Well my problems are bigger than yours shut up!". Not in this case I guess because he didn't have problems, he had an attitude, but generally D:

Yeah, I'm not exactly proud of that part. I'm not the sort to do that normally, and it was really the fact that he didn't have problems and combination of months upon months of whining that got to me.

That said, I'm fully aware I didn't handle it very well. Please don't think too badly of me D:

As I said, that guy does sound like he had exactly one problem and that was himself, so I can understand you going off on him like that. I'm surprised how patient you were with him! Haha.

Heh, yeah. I have an extreme tolerance for people up until a point. By the end of it, I was only really staying because of the roleplay itself. The characters I was playing were deeply involved in my own sort of side storyline, and I really, really wanted to finish it.

I've had that happen in a game too -- a GM goes off the deep end, introduces his pet Sue to the players, and the game goes to shit immediately and wallows there till everybody suddenly gets "super duper busy" and can't make gaming night anymore. In my case, my GM was similarly confused about why the players didn't adore and worship his goddess-Sue as much as his entire gameworld did.

Your GM sounds supremely narcissistic. Better to be away from someone that nutso. I wish I knew some good RPs to point you at, but all I can do is hope you find something less crazypants. That was a hell of a read.

And t his is why I DON'T bring my goddess char into RPs, usually. Because...she's a GODDESS. I don't need a Duex Ex Machina auto-win button! That't now the point of RP!
