Yes, It's Only Been a Day
Yes, it's only been a day since I posted an update to The Continuing and Lamentable Saga of WutDude, NoSee, and NotTheCreature!FromTheBlueLagoon, but this COULD NOT WAIT.
Since I posted yesterday with D and Z hanging since WutDude decided to never answer their question, another character whom we'll call K enters the scene. K is twenty-five and is at the Xavier Institute for no reason that I know of (I DO NOT know what it is with twenty-year olds trolling around a school for teenage mutants, we have quite a few). He decides to answer the question by telling Z and D that if the humans knew what the Institute was, everyone inside of it, both student and faculty, would be dead.
Now, for some silly reason, this causes Z's anxiety to flare up. She immediately thinks that if she's not going to be safe at the Institute, she is calling her mother and father and going home. Her anxiety and fear manifests itself by her wringing her empty water bottle and her knee shaking, so she's trembling with fear/nerves. Even though she has decided this, she argues that this mutant era is similar to the civil rights era, and she doesn't believe that humans would do that to mutants.
WutDude returns to our thread with a vengeance.
He grabs Z by the shoulders and presses against her, his torso being only an inch or two from her back. And then he uses purple prose. "Hold fast, here there is sanctuary for those who stand against the darkness of ignorance and would illumine those held in its sway. Here thou art safe."
WHAT?! WHAT?! YOU'RE GOING TO GRAB A SCARED SIXTEEN-YEAR OLD GIRL, PRESS AGAINST HER, AND TELL HER IN PURPLE PROSE THAT EVERYTHING'S SAFE? WHAT?!! DO NOT WANT DO NOT WANT DONOTWANT!!!! He then caps it off with, "There was once a time when people were bred as cattle. In time this darkness too will pass."
WHAT?! WHAT?! WHAAAAAAAT?! I might wait for C to reply with D, or for K to reply, but Z is getting the f*&# out of there. She has anxiety, a six-foot tall man of unknown age is pressing against her, and this just got waaaaaay too dark for her.
EDIT: Z has fled. I'm wondering if WutDude's gonna glare at K and be like, "You scared off the woman!" and then pound him into a pulp.
EDIT II: WutDude turns to D seeing that Z has fled, and is ready to rip K a new one as soon as D leaves. "D?" WutDude said, trying to make it sound more like a command and not a plaintive cry. "I'd go but I think I'd make it worse. She trusts you. I don't know why but she does."
WTF ARE YOU DOING?!
EDIT III: D PWNS, AND HE PWNS HARD! He turns to WutDude and says, "She's my friend. You shouldn't ever touch a woman like that," before going to make sure his friend is ok. SUCK IT, WUTDUDE, D IS A TRUE GENTLEMAN!
