On another note, you shouldn't try for violent swearing if you can't put your back into it. It just comes out sounding stilted and insincere, rather like bad poetry.
But I prefer when people have lean bio's/histories/personalities in apps. I find that the best characters are more fully developed in roleplay, and that all you really need is a basic skeleton to prevent sues.
But then, my RP doesn't "demand" rp samples, a specific app format [We need to know like...5 basic facts, and everything else is up to you], or a plethora of details.
And yet somehow-
I'd say 90% of the characters are well-written and pretty amazing. There's always that small 10% that will drive me nuts, but I guess I really don't get how bad apps would cause "raepmace" jokes. Bad apps make my inner editor squeal with morbid glee.
Realistically, a player can be good or bad, regardless of how well they can write an app. I'm well aware of this. I've seen amazing players who failed hard in their app and vice versa, so I'm not saying that it's "necessary" for an application to include an analytical essay in the personality section or a novel for a sample.
And hey, if you enjoy reading garbage for amusement, you're one of the lucky ones. Having read over numerous apps, I'll say that the first few bad ones are amusing. After that, it's torture. And sometimes, you don't even reject them outright because you're reading over the whole mess looking for that one redeeming thing that might make you say, "Ah, okay. They might not suck

I'd be more pissed if ANY MORE of those damned 10 year olds apped, rather than any more of THOSE DAMNED 10 YEAR OLDS!
I dunno, maybe OP just has an issue with decagenarians.

Yes, the rhythm and flow is all wrong.

I feel OP's raeg. Too many people pussyfoot around the fact that bad apping is the most annoying shit that a mod has to go through.
And every now and then, it provokes things like this.
Shit.

But maybe I'm part of an outlier. xD
