Piaffe is achieved by training a horse up through the levels of dressage with flexion, contact and collection, NOT BY TYING IT BETWEEN TWO DAMN POSTS!

Now its gone from a$$hats in their backyards to polished smooth-talkers making DVDs and advertising on FACEBOOK.

Spanish Riding School uses pillars to train piaffe, and I think a few of the other classic schools do as well. Haven't watched the vid to make any comment about this program, but pillars aren't a new thing.

And what is "Safer than riding, especially if you ride alone" supposed to mean? That making your horse jog in place (as it's not a real piaffe as far as I can tell, reminds me too of the "dancing horses", whether you use pillars or not.) is safer then say, trail riding, well duh? But it would get boring really quick I think.
