Penelope skipped out on all of the football festivities and while she'd seen the girlkissy party, there was no way she could have gone and been comfortable.

So she'd spent the day on her bed, reading and writing in her journal.

The door was closed but knockable.

[For one, please.]

After the girlkissy party, and most importantly the conversation with Amber, Hurley swung by Penelope's room and knocked on the door.

Not expecting anyone, Penelope got up from her bed and walked to her door, opening it without asking who it was.

"Hurley," she said, pleasantly surprised. "I assumed you'd be watching the game."

"Yeah, but... I figured out you weren't there, so I came to see you," Hurley said.

She blushed, lightly, and stood aside. "Come in, please. I'm glad you thought of me, Hurley. That was very kind of you."
