Ponying

Egads, what a flurry of new activity! Good to see new faces and refamiliarize myself with some old ones!

School is almost out for the semester and as such I will have much more time to spend with my favorite four-legged companions. We have a yearling filly who needs some more experience (see trailer loading post) and I was hoping to start ( Read more... )

this post and comment come at a good time -I've been considering the same things, except, hands down, it'll be pony ponying young horse -not a chance I'd attempt it on Jack.

I'm glad we're tagging, now -I'd hate in a couple of months to have to sift thru posts to find this!

Sorry I'm rather late in responding to this (I blame the end of the semester crunch).

Thank you for all of the tips! I know that size shouldn't matter, but I figure while the baby is learning her manners and might be prone to the occational freak out about random things, I figure having a sturdier horse would help *grin.*

I'll keep these in mind as I start ponying in the next couple weeks. I was defiantely planning on starting in the arena! I look forward to starting to take her out into the greater world.
