I find that everything in life is fluxing to and fro at a pace that is tough to keep up with. Yes, the proverb is true, fold the hands for a time, and rest for a bit, and poverty will come upon you like a bandit. I am not thinking in financial poverty, but there are many kinds and forms of poverty

I remember the moment when I realized that, for so long I had been using my own might to lead people to Christ. I forgot about the pure power of His Word - His strong truth cuts soul and spirit, even bone and marrow.

I think I had been trying too hard to make people "like the truth," especially since most were young people. I wanted so badly not to make it seem so boring or mundane. When I realized this, I realized too that I had actually lost the zeal or passion for and during the reading of the Bible.

I'm pretty sure it was around the time I was reading the Eldridge books that He taught me afresh about the actual life and power in His Word. All I have to do is speak it with the Heart of God. Tell it like it be.

Oh, and i completely forgot about that roxanne icon. i think it is by far my favorite. gosh, I miss my Photoshop.
