Krow - Week 11 - The Omega Family

Dec 07, 2011 20:41

HEY GUYS. GUYS. IT'S TIME FOR OMEGA 11.

ARE YOU EXCITED

I'M PRETTY EXCITED

Before we get really stuck into this, I apologise in advance for the small quantity of pictures (..70...small... lol) and relatively sparse commentary. It's the first household I've played since speed-playing Week 10, so I was still a bit stuck in that gaming style.

SO ANYWAY. We start with Joseph Omega gardening in the early hours of day 1. He's going to have a small farm when he moves out, so it's fitting that he starts skilling for it now.

Tabitha lost her orange eyes. This has been an ongoing issue with Tabitha - I stupidly deleted the eyes whilst Rose Omega (Tabitha's grandmother) was still around, when Tabitha was still a toddler. So basically that whole genetic line is horsed. Yippee. I ONLY MARRIED ROSE IN FOR HER EYES, DAMNIT. someone make me contacts I swear, Tabitha, you're a thorn in my side.

Moving on. The kids went to school and Luke invited himself in, but he is Amelia's twin, so that's okay.

Tabitha has an after-school job in the Business track, so she built some skill for it while the others ate a late-lunch-early-dinner thing.

The girls got double beds for their rooms. Joseph would have got one too, but it doesn't fit in his room comfortably.

Lol, jogging werewolf. He wasn't very good at it.

More gardening!

And an early morning hike that ends in disaster for Amelia and Nebula.

That's a looooot of bees.

Tabitha went to work and came back again, whilst Luna scouted for a job in Culinary. Culinary is her LTW, so I figured that like Tabitha, she could be shoed into the career early on. It took a few days for the job to turn up, though.

Oh, dear.

Front yard + game of catch + parents in underwear + son = terminal case of embarrassment? Probably. At least it was early morning, with few people around.

Joseph went over to the family park for a while, mostly to scout for a future spouse. His sisters went with him. It was, erm. A bit of a failure.

Both girls were more interested in their game. (I would be too, not gonna lie.) They continued on to the local restaurant, which was just as successful as the park.

Lol, background events.

Back home, they all shared a meal in that family way. It's not as charming as the Patchworks, though? Idk, there's something about that family.

I've kind of held off on sending Amelia and Nebula to the Bakery, since it's already at Rank 10. They don't really need to go... so they really either knock boots or skill, neither of which is terribly interesting to observe. Hence, very few pictures of the process.

I spent quite a bit of time with one cautious eye on Luna, since she's prone to certain Romance Sim related shenanigans. I was actually worried she'd canoodle with Thomas Patchwork, when he came over that afternoon.

Then I remembered they were family, so false alarm.

Tabitha became an Overachiever! :D

And I got them a thing, which Joseph thoughtfully broke in during the pre-dawn hours of Day 4.

Three times a day, I swear. Those two aren't even three-bolters, and they're ALWAYS going at it. I do not understand.

Anyway. Luna finally got a job in the Culinary track, and headed off to work alongside Tabitha.

Promotion on the first day, of course. Luna also scored 2 cooking points from a chance card. Sweeeeet.

Once Tabitha was home too, they played basketball for a while.

1. I love how Luna looks when she's dressed as an athlete.
2. I love that they look like sisters.

After that, Luna went on a date with a two-bolter, a fellow called Andrew.

Mostly it was so that I could get a closer look at his genetics. I don't mind him, but if I can find a three-bolter, I will.

Excuse me, Mr. Charlatan...

WTF ARE YOU DOING.

If I could smite you, I would. >:C

At the end of her date, and quite by accident, Luna met a fellow called Geoffrey.

They're three bolters. Brilliant. >:D

She came home, went to work, got promoted and consequently became an overachiever too.

Meanwhile, Joseph went to pick up groceries and along the way he met Kana Johnson.

Kana is one of the few people that Joseph is attracted to - they're two bolts. He's rather obtuse. She seems pretty sweet, they'll probably stick together.

Day 6~

Geoffrey came over for a date with Luna. Note Kana in the background, she came over to hang out with Joseph (not as a sanctioned date, though).

By the end of Luna's date, she was going steady with Geoff - who is a Romance sim too, as it turns out. I like that.

Joseph followed suit with Kana, which sets up those two nicely. I still need to find someone good for Tabitha, but there's no rush. She has Wendy, but they are only one bolt. There's no suitable teens for her though, so maybe I'll wait until she's an adult.

Because she had an energy boost from her date, Luna stayed up until the early hours of the morning, trying to wear it down again. Didn't really work. (I LOVE HER ATHLETIC LOOK.)

Every time that Tabitha went to skill Charisma in the bathroom, Amelia Bloody Omega would Need To Pee. So of course she would shoo Tabitha out, which would queue-stomp the skilling, which I wouldn't notice for an hour or two, on account of being preoccupied with other members of the household. I got annoyed enough that Tabitha got her own mirror in her own room, where no such shooing can occur. EVER.

And that was it!
