Here we have the second (and final) part of Week 10's replay, featuring the Torrisi, Torrisi X and Torrisi 2 group, as well as the Confetti, Hark and Cwik families.
So,
here we go!
The Torrisi Family
Chris Torrisi continued her no-pants policy.
Marcus and Zachary Torrisi continued to be the most physically dissimilar twins I've ever had.
Chris promoted herself to Freelance Web Designer, thanks to a chance card. This, plus cash rewards for Rotor, plus a short stint at Rotor of an additional 3k profit took their funds up to 104k in less than a day. I'll dump excess money into a university fund next week. (Seeing a theme, here?)
Marcus got into a squabble with a townie, to my annoyance. That's going to plague the family for WEEKS.
See? 8|
Lupine and Jacaranda Confetti made their appearances in the house after school, which I'm glad of. No Luna Omega though, so Zac and Luna didn't get up to any shenanigans. In this household at least.
On the evening of Day 4, Matt passed away. He left his kids an appropriate quantity of inheritance, and Marcus became the new torchholder.
Marcus spent his first night as torchholder sneaking out with a friend.
He returned at 4am without a scratch, but very tired.
Friday night was when Isaiah grew up again, and became a werewolf once more. :D
He grew up poorly, like last time, but I do like how he looks as an adult.
Day 7, the house got the same kind of renovation as before - chopped off the back, added a storey.
There were a few differences compared to last time - the stairs were flipped to face the other way, which I like much more. It made the levels much easier to work with.
There's a study nook on the lower floor where there was a bathroom. The kitchen has proper table/chairs instead of an island. The colour schemes are generally different, because I wanted to play with colour a bit and wasn't actually all that fond of the teal/aqua last time. Upstairs, there's a bathroom and an ensuite to the master bedroom, along with just two more bedrooms, instead of three. They're bigger, though, with much greater capacity for a number of cribs and/or kids. Overall, I like it a lot more. I'm not really keen on the kitchen's colour scheme, I find it rather drab, but I'll wait until ~inspiration~ strikes before doing anything more to it.
And in the evening, Isaiah moved out.
The Torrisi X Family
This one is the Xenophillia family, if you'll recall. Damien Torrisi, being the unfortunate subject of this challenge, spent most of Day 1 being tremendously pregnant. Little baby Zinc (a girl again) was born in the evening.
Most of the week was a case of Damien parenting and stargazing by turns, 'til he finally got knocked up. He was abducted a good four or five more times before he finally came back pregnant in the early hours of Day 5.
Also Zinc grew up and they were adorable together.
This guy was around too, but he didn't do much. Like, at all.
The Torrisi 2 Family
As for Jonathan Torrisi, he started off his week the same way as before, with a tent and a tiny shack for the plumbing.
He spent pretty much his whole week digging, to raise funds to get that pet store. On the first day he made 2k, and on the whole it went fairly well.
He also did some busking, once I remembered to add a piano to the restaurant again.
This one is mostly to show that every household had either a) a burglary or b) a fire, even if it's not in the highlights. Pretty sure that at least eight law enforcement slots were opened this week ALONE, but I'm not really counting them.
He met and hung out and fell in love with Tristen again.
And got a job in the Science track, just like last time. Digging and his promotion bonuses actually racked up a rather large amount of funds, so I cashed in everything 'cept an extra treasure chest. It, as you might have guessed, will go to the university fund in week 11. As it was, the funds were poured into the same Pet Store that he bought originally. It won't be up and running until Tristen is in the picture, so we'll cover that in Week 11 proper.
And all those burglaries? He got one too. XD
Jonathan was UTTERLY USELESS about the matter, he wouldn't stop panicking long enough to call emergency services, so he lost his tent AND his fridge. I lacked the sympathy necessary to replace either of them, but reno day was looming so I bought him a bed early. It was that or risk him getting fired or demoted from poor job performance. :|
So while he went to work, I made a house.
It's slightly different to the original in that the kitchen is now fully enclosed, which I did because there could be sprogs in the coming week and since I won't be able to build extra rooms, having an enclosed space seemed appropriate. (also note that I'm using a DIFFERENT wooden floor for once, go me.)
And Jonathan finished up his rotation by studying in the name of job promotions.
The Confetti Family
This is the Awesimsauce family, if you remember.
First, the most important thing about this week. LOOK WHO ISN'T AN ELDER YET.
Haaaaay Steven ;D
Lupine spent his week romancing every elegible girl he could find.
Lupine got caught cheating after he woohooed with his date on a bench at Omega Park. That's what you get for not using discretion. I was surprised - Lupine and Katelyn had their whole date at the park, and Brittany (the slapper) didn't seem to care at all. Not until they woohoo'd, then she was furious. Oh well.
As for Jacaranda, well...
Her and Zachary matched up again. I think I'll keep them together: it's one less household I have to worry about, they're both family sims (a bit dull but a good match), and they have good chemistry. I feel kind of bad that two family sims have to raise Black Gen, but oh well. XD
Double birthdays. :c
Also a robbery. Seriously, SO MANY BURGLARS. Wtf, game. WTF.
Lupine hit the 10 sims mark, leaving just 10 sims to go.
And on Sunday, he moved out too. Bluebelle returned to topping the Business track, with Steven not far behind, so with any luck we'll have two BD's at the end of Week 11. C:
The Hark Family
This family was sooooo hard to play. This family is so big for such a small lot. :C I wish, more than ever, that I'd moved Andrew and Aurora out last week. But I didn't, so they're stuck here another week. But seriously, LOOK HOW MANY OF THEM THERE ARE.
It's just as well that Liz didn't have a job - the twin girls soiled themselves at a truly prodigious rate. Andrew helped too, whilst Andrzej (her fiance) worked his way through the Criminal career.
To make things worse, birthdays!
Jessica had hers too, but it was in an awkward spot, so no picture. Jessica's LTW is now to become a Visionary. Not as cool as being an Icon, but it still requires college so the difference is negligible.
The house was too small, so an evacuation was in order.
The toddlers took their walking and talking lessons outside, not least of all because I HATE when route failure ends a walking lesson. Marcus Torrisi and Jessica played football, whilst Sophie Patchwork chased Aurora around. Andrzej was inside, painting, to get skills for promotion.
Jessica found and fell in love with Ray Zhang again, though this time around they're two-bolters instead of three.
I'll tweak Jessica's turn-ons, that should do the trick. Also, the two girls grew up to children, but for some reason I didn't picture it.
On Day 7, Liz and Andrzej made another kid.
Liz is carrying twins. ;_____________; BUT I DID THIS ALREADY!
It's not so bad though - Aurora grew up, so she and Andrew moved out that night, per the original round.
This left a family of five behind - soon to be seven. ;_; Ilu Liz, but STOP IT.
The Cwik Family
Finally, the Cwik family. Another case of nothing happening. I'd taken a whole three pictures by Day 5, it was that dull.
Things of note include... Ben growing into a toddler.
Cadence skilled her charisma, to get into the entertainment career.
Ben grew older and set about skilling quietly out of the way of his parents, who were more interested in each other.
Brandon continued to work towards his LTW of being the top of the Architecture career.
On Day 7, Ben wandered around some of the community lots with his mum.
And skilled with his dad.
See? I told you nothing of interest happened. :c
------------
Well, that's it for Week 10. We're finally, FINALLY on to Week 11. I've kept it as close to the original developments as I could, so I haven't changed any of Krow's stats. By the way, you can now see them in the sidebar of this LJ. Even though my stats are nothing special (and if nothing else, show how slowly I play...) I really like them being there. :3
So, next up will be the Omegas, for Week 11.
This way! :D
