last night we had quite the impressive thunderstorm, with some pretty spectacular lightening. even a little rain. it was cool. almost wish we'd had it on sunday as it would've been an awesome backdrop for the sgow but... it probably would've fried us too. and we'd had enough problems with our power on sunday as it was. when the guys arrived, our ( Read more... )

My kids were disappointed the power didn't go out. I did, however, manage to locate some flashlights, just in case.

With how freakin' loud that was last night, it made me realize just how scary going through all those hurricanes must be for kids.

photo storage, etc are blocked on the work comps... can you email it to me? otherwise i have to wait til after work to see it...

i was all set for the power to go out... we dug up the lantern on sunday. and the fireplace is all set to be lit... so i was ready. which is why it didn't go out. ;)
yeah... i definitely could not handle being in one of those massive storms... this was cool but i knew it wasn't going to hurt me... add in wind and woulda been snuggling the pudgey one.
