I started reading Lady's Hands, Lion's Heart last night and I couldn't put it down.  I'm halfway done the book already.  I've read plenty of books and stories about midwives in the 60's, 70's and 80's and it usually makes me envious, wishing it was as simple now as it was back then.

I'm so glad the dream hasn't been pushed back - when setbacks kept hitting I was terrified you were going to give up. Please don't!

I'm going to see if I can't find that book at my library! I've been craving a re-re-re-re-re-read of Vincent's Babycatcher, but I leant it to someone. Midwives and juvenile fantasy for me, all the way.
