* I went to bed last night at 3:30 a.m., and it wasn't because I was playing Wii or watching the olympics.  School work, my friends, school work.

* Julia brought Charlotte into my room at 6:30 a.m.  Six.Thirty.A.M.  For those of you who are as math challenged as I am, that would be just three hours after I went to bed.  I got up, made scrambled eggs ( Read more... )

Oh. my. gosh. I cannot believe that your harddrive cannot be salvaged and you lost everything. sick. sick.

As long as you get your extension on assignments, you'll get through... If you've done them once you can do it again. You'll make it, Janice, you really will. Don't give up with the finish line SO close!

I cannot believe the attitude of those people. How can they justify their insensitivity and disrespect in ANY WAY??? I do hope that a resolution is met that brings you and other families peace and validation. Such a delicate matter handled so shoddily.

And your laptop? Oh, man. I am so so so sorry. All the things you've lost... so devastating. I know how awful and heartbreaking it is to lose cherished photos and schoolwork - happened to me twice before. Ugh, I am so sorry.

ARRRARARARHGGGGHHH. So sorry about the cemetery dispute. Where is it that people lose compassion? Did they just never have any to begin with? This isn't a parking lot people, it's a resting place and sanctuary.

And the computer. Sheesh. That sucks in an unbelievably major way.

OOOOOH boy. What a day. I feel sick for you on more than one level. People who are incapable of empathy PISS me off to an unhealthy level. The assholes from the cemetary have alot to learn about respecting other people's grief.
And woe is you WRT to the laptop. I had a similar experience, and we almost lost five years of pictures, Eddy's speech at him mom's funeral, emails that his mom sent to him before she died...and much MUCH more. The *only* reason that some of it was recovered is because we sent the hard drive to a place in the States and paid $2000.00 to have it restored. And there was no guarantees. Fortunately they got the pictures and Eddy's mom's stuff back.
I hope today is a better day!
