* I spent two and a half hours cleaning Julia's room with her. We have bags and boxes of stuff to pack away for Charlotte, toss in the garbage, and/or donate to charity. Hopefully keeping her room reasonably clean won't be so difficult now

With some exceptions, I've just been giving Charlotte what we eat. If I make beef stew, I make a bit extra and throw some in the blender. Same for veggies - whatever I'm making for our own supper, I double it and chop, mash, or puree the rest for Charlotte. I freeze them in ice cube trays and then throw them in a labelled ziploc bag in the freezer. Easy. Puffed rice is good, chopped up pasta, mashed or cubed fruits and veggies, I even gave Charlotte tiny, tiny pieces of cheese quesadillas yesterday, because that's what the girls and I were eating for lunch and Charlotte wanted some! Check out that wholesomebabyfood website and they'll have ideas for chunky/finger food too.
