If ProtonJonSA ever updates his Superman 64 LP, you will see fast forward with normal speed commentary, as he's promised to speed past these, but since he does the commentary in post...

And yeah, I've seen FF LPs, they're annoying. It's sloppy and bothersome. But some people don't hold themselves to a standard, I guess.

Looking at it again, I may have exaggerated on that "whole LPs in fast forward" thing. The more correct term is "LP videos completely in fast forward", as in single videos that are at double speed the whole time (instead of just one portion of the video; no, it's the whole thing). Those exist probably due to video time limits, but in that case I argue that I'd rather see the video split into two parts instead of seeing it in one video played and narrated by Chip and Dale.

Oh well. At least some fast forwarded LP videos have abysmal view counts, proving that watching such videos is indeed very pointless.

...still, I should do something about this situation. It's been in my mind for a long while now. Perhaps it's finally time to start a new video project. A little something that should make those chipmunk LPs a little more comprehensible.....

Oh. In that case, searching YouTube for "let's play double speed" and "let's play fast forward" brings up plenty such videos. Maybe I'm letting this situation bother me too much, but just looking at those search results sickens me. I shudder to think what'll happen to me if I actually try to watch one of them...

Music over sped up portions is fine by me (unless it's Yakety Sax or the music itself is also sped up). Post commentary over sped up portions is even better. Just please, no chipmunk commentary. I watch LPs to observe someone play a game, hear their experiences on it, and be entertained by the whole thing. It becomes much harder to do any of those when they're flying by me at double time.

I have to ask, though. Where can I find these LPs that are at double speed not to lessen the video time but to purposefully sound like Fred and maybe become as popular as him too (yeah right)?
