Yesterday I had my first High Tea at the Phoenician down in Scottsdale. It was sooo much fun. I get to throw my own Tea Party when I come back from Europe!

I went to the dentist for the first time in 4 years this past Tuesday - I would have gone much sooner but since my father lost his health insurance as did I. An exam at 10 am and an hour or so later he came up with the total cost of how much he wants to do to my mouth... the grand total is right under $11,000. Yeah Right!!!! I'm going back to Europe in 9 1/2 weeks. I never thought that I would get to go back so quickly. My main reason for going is a conference called: 'Partners Both in Throne and Grave: Mary and Elizabeth' - its at the Chawton House Library in the U.K. I am taking three days before the conference to do sightseeing. So it has deffinitly been a long time since I wrote in this, or even opened this site up. I've been pretty busy this past school year - graduation is coming up from ASU and then I am moving to UofA. I'm soooo angry! I lost some research for my research grant. This has never happened to me before. And unfortunatly it was research that took days for me to do. Dang it. Grr I guess these things happen to the best of people but it is still agrivating.

I was apparently nominated for a Scholarship by the History Department and I turned in my part of the application this morning. Just a few hours later I was called in for an interview next Wednesday. There are 10 of this scholarship that are going to be handed out over the campus and the lady told me there were 12 people that applied. So that ( Read more... )

So no more History Department job and I am currently working on getting an internship with the Queen Elizabeth I Society for next year... I hope it works cause if it does that would deffinitly do wonders to my goals.

So I am at work... bored... I mean I do have things to do but for some reason the time is going by soooo slow and all I have to do is data entry and that can be sooo tedious. I have 4 more hours to go... aghhhh

Adam is home for the weekened. I'm so excited. This time it won't be just for one night it will be for the whole weekened. Hopefully I can take lots of pics and post!
