Websites and stuff
Been busy working on both Max's and my website/blogs. We had a brief setback when an important page in the dashboards kept sending me to various error pages. After much surfing of the WordPress forums and a supprot ticket, it turned out the mere acronym "XML-PRC" was setting off alarms with DrakNet's security (they block the use of it). One more reason why LJ sucks
This morning I awoke to "Happy Birthday!" emails from both InsaneJournal and GreatestJournal. Sure they were canned messages, but knowing someone took the time to create such a notification system makes me feel that both IJ and GJ actually give a fuck, unlike another journal. -
Google Calendar
I don't recall if I mentioned this before, but after searching for a calendar to incorporate my Remember the Milk to-do list into, I found Google Calendar. I knew it!
The car's back. Got back Friday (almost wasn't finished in time due to a part being stuck in traffic). My hunches about the were correct. Not only was it the reason the car wouldn't go, but it was also the reason why the engine was knocking: it was getting too lean a mix. The car is out of commission until at least Thursday, when it goes in to visit our mechanic. Judging by our description of our car's current trouble, the Taurus' past history of stalling on hot days, and Glenn's total ignoring of our mechanic's warning to never let the fuel level get below a quarter of a tank, all signs seem to point to the fuel ( Read more... )
