it's... because i just can't help but go there... merman Mizumachi and prince Kakei and the rest of the Kyoshin Poseidon team in a crazy eyeshield 21 meets little mermaid.

ah-ha, thank you very much for the love! Um, I'd like to know who's Ursula as well, because I really don't know who to put in that position (and, Ohira was originally the dog, and Onishi the prince's butler or Sebastian -highly debatable, since both fit his characteristics), and Kobanzame was really a flounder fish). If you have any suggestions that can help, I'd really like to hear them.

Really, the way they are now (Ohira and Onishi) is perfect. ;D (You could have included the cheerleader captain and vice-captain somehow though... XD But then again they'd fit as maids in prince Kakei's castle.)

And actually - even after looking at the rest of the Poseidon-team - I have not found anybody who fits the role of Ursula. Maybe their manager (Shibuya Maki), who kind of has the same look, but I actually know nothing of her characteristics. ^^;
So, the only alternative that came to my mind for Ursula was Hiruma and the image stuck like hell. ^^; So, um, that's what I think. (And I definitely have to rewatch Arielle a bit to give you more of an opinion on that. ^^;; )

I thought of Hiruma as well, as in from the get go: "evil scheming villain? Hiruma!" but then since this is Kyoshin-centric, I'd have too much trouble trying to explain how Hiruma's there. Then I thought, why not the cheerleader vice-captain? But why would she do that to Mizumachi? Peeping tom yes, but... then Agon came to mind (he did dislocate Mizumachi's shoulder) because he has the hair and the meaningless evil for it. But it's the same problem with Hiruma. Augh augh augh.

How come I don't know of this Shibuya Maki??? Who's she?
