You know, all the events here seem to be either really dangerous or just really ridiculous. Aren't there any in the middle? Just enough to not to be boring but not too crazy like this? Seriously...

I'm up for a fight as long as I don't break any bones or anything.

What about the last event?

[Minato could only guess that Alice hadn't fought with anyone previous to his message. But he couldn't be sure.]

Did you need candy, Alice?

That's fine. Let's go in there.

[Minato opened up the door and saw that it was indeed empty. He allowed Alice? to walk in first before following him in and closing the door.]

Don't hold back. [As a precaution, Minato took off his school uniform jacket, headphones, and MP3 player and set them aside and out of the way.]

[ Alice? had left his gun in his room already, so the only thing he took off was his white jacket and threw it off to the side ]

You too. [ after lightly stretching his arms, Alice? took a deep breathe before looking at Minato from a somewhat distance. It was actually his first time to be in a "fight" or whatever (or at least that's what he remembered) so he was slightly nervous. But he tried his best to not show that ]

[This was also one of the very few times Minato fought just on his own without his sword or his Evoker or any weapon besides just his fists. The vampire event gave him some opportunities, but that was with a considerable advantage over his opponents. This time was much more fair.]

I am. It'll be all right.

[Minato nodded, indicating that he was ready. He beckoned to Alice? with a finger, allowing him to attack first.]

[ Alice? had no training of any sort. So his fighting was just basically based on his instinct and feeling.

As Minato beckoned, he ran towards his opponent to punch him with his right fist. He wasn't fast as lighting or anything, but he was a pretty quick and agile young man ]

[Sometimes a fight is won based on that alone. Minato found that Alice? was fast and had to guard against the punch. His arms were up and took the hit, testing to see how strong Alice? was, and there was a rather substantial amount of force behind it.

Minato knew he had to fight back if the Mansion and the Cat were to believe that this was a legitimate fight. He also threw a punch with his right fist toward Alice? in return.]

[ well thank god for punching March Hares fft. If it weren't for him, Alice?'s punches would've probably been pretty crappy.

As Minato's punch came, he stepped backwards to dodge. Which he successfully did, but the sudden change caused him to lose his balance ]

[No, not crappy at all, Minato could tell. His own kendo training and experience with battle against Shadows gave him some strength, but nothing like someone like Akihiko or Ryohei who were skilled with their fists in the first place.

When he saw Alice? starting to lose his balance, Minato normally would have grabbed Alice?'s hand to keep him from falling. As much as it had been against his character, though his hand was forced because of the fight requirement, he moved to push Alice? instead to keep him from getting back upright on his feet.]

Uwah! [ Alice? did fall on his butt, but inwardly he smiled a little. He knew he was open for kick or punch, something harder. But Minato chose to only push him. He really was a good guy apparently.

As he fell, he swiped his leg at Minato's to knock it out from under him ]

[Minato knew that the impact Alice? took couldn't have been entirely painless as evidenced by his surprised cry. He felt a bit guilty at that, but he had to keep fighting...]

Nh! [He hadn't expected to be tripped or knocked down either, and thus did fall just as Alice? had. But it was a smart move, and he had to admire how intuitive his friend's style was. Minato stayed on the ground, recovering somewhat from the sudden drop, which he knew also left himself open.]

[ he stood up quick as he could, and ran over to Minato, pushing him down on the ground and straddling him before he could fully recover and get back up.

Alice? clenched his fist, and normally he would've just gone and given the opponent a nice punch to the face. But he paused. He wasn't too sure how much they needed to do to deem the fight "end". ]

[At this point, there was no easy way Minato could get up from the ground, not with the other boy straddling him. He looked up saw that he was about to be hit, but Alice? had hesitated.]

It's okay. I give up.

[That should have been enough. Or he hoped. They both had the intention to fight, and only one of them had to surrender while that intention was still in tact.]

[ As soon as Minato said that the Cheshire Cat appeared and left the candy. Alice? might've gone and shot at the Cat if he wasn't so far away from that gun...

But seeing that the fight was over, he got off of Minato and held out a hand to help him up ]

[Minato accepted Alice?'s help and got to his feet. That Cat did come as promised, which was good since he wouldn't have known what to do had any of the fights he engaged in had been in vain.]

You did well.

So did you. Uh...you hurt anywhere or anything? [ it didn't seem like it, but Alice? made sure just in case. ]

No, I'm fine. Are you? You should eat the candy before anything else.
