Yikes! That was really horrifying - but so well done! I loved it when Dean thought "God" and the demons laughed at him - and the ending was perfect! Thank you!

Thanks! The completely unhorrific quality of the shot of Dean in hell with all the chains has been bothering me for a long time. And I may have, um, gone too far the other way?

But it was a great idea, the parallel between what Dean trying to save Sam does to Sam, and having Sam trying to save Dean end up doing the same thing, functioning as the point of leverage that makes Dean break.

This was beautifully horrifying. The best Dean-breaks-in-Hell I have read.

I loved the repeating of "Sam kicks dirt into a hole."

Even down in hell with just this one last piece of himself and he'll still do anything to keep on saving Sam, who's trying to save him.
