Acceptance Letter

About five months ago, I wrote to The People's Friend, asking them if they wanted to publish one of the short stories I wrote for my MA course. It was one of the assessed pieces, and I'd worked pretty hard on it even though I didn't love it, so I figured it would be a good start for sending off to people for consideration.

CONGRATULATIONS! *dances around* I am mad with jealousy. I've been looking at People's Friend stories as something to try my hand at, myself, but I haven't got anywhere yet. You'll have to tell me when it gets published in the magazine and I'll pick up a copy XD

Thank you! :D The People's Friend style isn't something I think I'm particularly good at (or something I'd want to write lots of TBH), but that story was just too good of a match to pass up. :) Haha, I will let you know! XD
