I caved and wrote Sherlock Holmes fic. Yeah, yeah, I know I have a bajillion other things to do, but this would not leave me alone. I was perusing the Kink Meme (because apparently that's my first stop in a new fandom *facepalm*) and I found a prompt that bombarded my brain with images that kept me up until 4am last night. I honestly tried to sleep

Oh god, this was SO CUTE. I love that you gave enough attention to Mary's death in the beginning, because it really set up the story well. And Little Mary is so PRECIOUS.

Also, Irene would be the greatest Aunt ever!

I'm glad you thought so! I'm glad Mary's death helped to set the story up, rather than ruin the fluff (or something) - I felt like it needed to be there if only so I could break Watson just a little. :)

She would indeed! (And now my brain wants me to write more in this 'verse. Dammit!)

N'awwww :) And I haven't even seen the new film yet (I'm going out on a limb and assuming that's your basis?). It is tempting just to write things sometimes, isn't it? Particularly when the bunnies attack :D

Glad you enjoyed it - even without having seen the film! (Yes, the new film was the basis. I saw it the other week at the Uni film society - did I not post that here? Silly me - and it was brilliant, and RDJ!Holmes and JudeLaw!Watson have taken up residence in my brain ever since. :D I'd recommend the film - but with the warning that it's Sherlock Holmes, Hollywood-ized. This is not necessarily a bad thing. ;) )

It really is. Thing is, if I get bitten by the bunnies, they just will not leave until I write something. Which is why I have a ton of half-finished bunny-inspired fics lying around that I don't have the time to finish. D:
