parking around Post Office Square?

Jun 16, 2008 11:17

Gotta go to a meeting by Post Office Square and i really don't feel like spending $25 to park at the garage... Any ideas on where to park in the area? I will be in there around lunch so maybe i will get lucky! =)

I also may just take the t to Govt Center and walk it.

Any advice?

Advice: take the T. Infuriating as it is, it's actually easier than finding street parking.

Either take the T, or head for the Fan Pier - Seaport area with all the surface parking lots (and then you have a fair amount of walking to do)

I work in PO Square, definitely take the T if you can.

You can also take the Orange Line to State St, and leave the station through the 'Devonshire & Water Streets' exit, which puts you about a block away.

Or red line to Downtown Crossing, it is really just a 5 minute walk away.

i live off the blue line...
so i think gov't center is the way to go.
thus avoiding Park St. (which is always a clusterfcuk)

State Street station is closer than Government Center. Just walk down Congress Street to Post Office Square.

ugh... i swore after i moved out of allston (and brighton) that i would avoid the t like the plague. been relatively successful so far...

at least i don't have to do the BC - Govt Center run anymore.

You see, as bad as the T can be, I'd sooner take it than drive ANYWHERE in this city.
