Where can I get a delicious sandwich in the Boston/Cambridge area? Preferably within short walking distance of a T stop.

pissed, free or cheap, snark, camping, wedding crap, humor, annoyances, lost, meow

Which could be considered a non-snarky reply, given the fan base of Simco's.

I suppose, but that's a hell of a reach.

The Mass. Ave Bridge. Somewhere around Smoot 244.

And one man's impossibly vague question is another's catalyst for snarking.

I'm going to stab myself for saying this...

I can't find a decent New York quality deli around here. I do NOT have transplanted New Yorker syndrome, I SWEAR (ask me about how much I love my new car insurance rates, quality of life, employment, etc! I fuckin love it here), but delis... I can't find one like back in the Old Lands. If you have an answer to that mystical question, sir...

I don't know what you win. But I'm sure it's super.

There's that kosher deli on Harvard Av in brookline, by the TJ Maxx. I dunno of any otehrwise. Boston is way into asian and indain food. Not much for typical East Coast food in this town, other than English/Irish pub grub.

Is that Rubin's? Or Kupels?

I like Irish pub grub. Also, I think there's pretty distinctly New England seafood.
