I noticed that International Express was cheaper when trying to sell stuff on Ebay. Why the "economy" costs more must have some long explanation that would be interesting to hear.

I've gained weight since my mom started doing better. I'd lost about 15 lbs., but I think it's all back, now.

Scott's office used to send boxes to China at least once a week that contained shipping labels. These are labels that get placed on the individual boxes of luggage that the vendor scans when it arrives in the US. This tells them what the box contains as well as which distribution center should receive the box. They sent the boxes Fed EX and they were spending an amazing amount of money this way. Sometimes $300 every couple of weeks. Scott convinced his dad to buy the equipment that prints the labels (it's a little complicated to print the labels because every vendor has a different method of labeling and each label for each vendor can be vastly different). Scott went last year to their main factory in China and set the system up, so now they do the labels themselves. I asked if he would be receiving a bonus increase to reflect how much money he has saved the company... no word on that yet. That's all from the world of international luggage intrigue.
