More importantly - Jiffy Lube? That sounds like some really weird flavoured sex thing. Is that an actual company name?

Sadly, yes it is. They are a large national chain of car-maintenance places.

I don't know; I kind of think if we're looking at it in that context, Jiffy Lube is worse, because of the quickness. Kind of like a teenager having a go in the backseat of the car. "Mr. Lube" at least sounds as if he's a professional and will ensure everyone's....*ahem*....satisfaction.

Ugh, what is it with cars being stupid lately? We got a flat on Saturday on the way to the theatre for my daughter's ballet, and then the wipers died (just needed new blades, but they were utterly useless)and of course, the spare tire which looked like a lovely full size really good tire? Is a different size than the other 3, so now we need four new tires before Christmas.

Also, I had a place change my oil and not replace the cap. This caused my car to break down the day my grandfather died. Talk about insult to injury! Needless to say, they never got my business again.

Sounds exhausting, for all of you. Maybe it's paying it forward, only in reverse (spending it backwards?) You've had more than your fair share of hassle and frustration, now the week is clear for good things!
