Excellent! A mystery. Interesting how ‘Genevieve’ is French for “pure white”, according to the baby names website I looked up just now; is white magic of some kind involved, perhaps? I thought also possibly a connexion to Gwenhwyfar and Arthur but then I look for that in everything to do with Who.)

I’m intrigued now!

Thanks! I do like a good mystery - never thought I'd really write one, though.

True. This is absolutely accurate. I cannot refute this statement. *zips lips*

Nope - nothing to do with the Arthurian legend. Although that would be fun, wouldn't it?

Yeah, not holding the baby, verrrrry difficult concept (especially when the baby's cute. Or I've always found so). But Rose is already kind of befuddled at this point; she's being pulled in two opposite directions, and unfortunately for her, the baby's closer, so has a stronger pull.

Glad you liked my nod to Nine - I don't write him often enough, and I like him.

Oh, now I'm intrigued as to what's going on here. You have just the right air of mysteriousness (which is more fitting than mystery to describe it). I love Rose falling into Dex's habit of calling them Panyards, Dex complaining about the girly clothes, and the joke about the baby names. Fabulous!

Probably so. But I'll admit I'm somewhat amazed that no one's figured out Janie or the woman in the hospital. I didn't think I was that good at writing a mystery! *grin*

the joke about the baby names

I'm quite fond of the word "disestablishmentarianism", and I can totally see the Doctor wanting to name his kid that. If only because he knows Rose will hate it, and he thinks she's pretty when she's mad.

I need more! I rarely even read fics until they are complete because I tend to get impatient for updates. While this is no exception (I'm very impatient) its totally worth it. I'm hooked!

Thank you! That's always the fear of the in-progress work, that the author will lose steam. I won't lose steam, I promise you, because I've got the whole thing written out and finished, so you'll get it all in bits and pieces. (I think serials are kind of fun, really. Gives you time to ponder.)

Oh. This is intresting. Jane is also (could) come from Genevieve. Also, special baby who makes people love her?
