Ooooooo. Intense! And what a way to get rid of the Spanish Armada. Go Doctor. =D Glad that Julio was redeemed, to some extent at least, and that the Queen won't be getting the Doctor's head just yet. Will we ever find out who this mysterious Janie is? I am quite curious. Can't wait for more!

It happened, too, that's the best part, there really was a storm that destroyed the Spanish Armada, and they really did call it the Protestant Storm, and there really was a saying "With His Winds They Were Scattered". It was too good not to use!

Julio was definitely redeemed at the end - I do like him, and like Martha says, everyone wants to believe they do the right thing. He really did think he was doing the right thing, when he was controlling Rose.

Will we ever find out who this mysterious Janie is?

Yes. :)

Thanks for the review, m'dear! :)

*sigh*

I love this story, even if I've been abysmal about commenting of late. The history is impeccable, and the tale you've woven through the fact is just...fantastic.

Wonderful stuff, as always.

You've been busy, life goes on. I'm a stickler for history, and I can't stand inaccuracies, so I did quite a bit of research while writing these scenes, and even with that, I'm sure I missed things.

But thank you - I'm glad you're liking it! :)

And your research is being well appreciated. I was glad to see the Protestant Storm had something Doctor-y about it!

Really, it was too good a connection to ignore! I'm surprised more people haven't used it yet, honestly - or maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.

Is Janie the baby? I've been wondering since she was first mentioned...

I love the thread of faith through this story. Just brilliant.

I also think your Martha is spot-on.

Thanks! I'm glad you like Martha - writing this really helped me come to terms with her, because I did not like her in S3 at all.

I love the thread of faith through this story.

Faith and trust both, which go hand-in-hand, really. :)

That's why I like your Martha actually, because she's *exactly* like she was in S3, constantly shouting at the Doctor for everything he does. It's perfect!

Well, she'd have to be, wouldn't she, since I'm ignoring the entirety of S4, so it's not like she had the chance to fall in love with Tom Mulligan or anything. *grin*

(And besides, who else is going to yell at the Doctor, or tell him to pull his thick head out of the sand?)

*grin* More is coming.

Speaking of more, I know you haven't written the part that comes after the Egyptian story in your series - but which one should I read next? You've got so many, I'm not sure where to continue!

*am still waiting*

If you go here: http://lostwolfchats.livejournal.com/43540.html#cutid1 my stories are all listed in chronological order - the Egyptian one was the first in the Journeys series, so you can take it from there :-D
