This is just a wonderful chapter! I've been absolutely horrible about commenting on every installment but I must say that I've loved and looked forward to this story every day.

It's so beautifully written and you do a wonderful job in showing us what the Doctor is experiencing. The location, the song and the feelings from both characters are just so perfect and I can't wait for the next chapter! :D

I think this was simply breathtaking. That was really your picture? How lucky are you to get to see the most remote places on earth? Wow!

And I agree with the comments 100% -- your descriptions are just as breathtaking as the scene you laid out for us. I can't wait for the Doctor and Rose to get back to London -- I can't wait to read what you have in store for us next!

*grin* I swear, I didn't post to show off. Only, I knew I had to give him an experience to jar him, and this one sprang to mind instantly. Nothing like near-death on a remote mountain to get your priorities in order.

Rose and 10.5 will be heading back to London shortly; it won't take them long now. :)

I love how the tables have turned and now he's the one terrified of a dangerous adventure.

Yup. This whole page is about their worlds being twisted around.

I'm glad her observation ["you're cold"] didn't create another barrier between them.

I don't think she meant anything hurtful by it - it just startled her, because she's used to him being warm now, what with being half human. That he's cold reminds her of the Original Doctor, and it sort of throws her off balance. Which of course leads to....

It's so perfect that the danger of the toboggan ride brings everything full circle for them.

It really does shift everything around. He faces the danger, and laughs, and is the one to comfort her. Very much full circle from where they began, and now he really is ready to go home. :)
