Harry had always been puzzled by a scribbled spell in the margins of the Half-Blood Prince's Potions textbook, the only one he hadn't been able to decipher. Not only was it written in Snape's appalling handwriting, it was smeared and half-obscured by suspicious-looking stains.
However when, several years after the war, he eventually encountered sex god Severus Snape in his Hawaiian hideaway, his education was finally completed.
'The spell is Lubricus, Potter,' murmured the Half-Blood Prince, drawing his wand and preparing to demonstrate...

Harry was genuinely sorry that the only teacher he'd been able to find was Snape, but he figured that after two hours with his head stuck between those railings Neville would be grateful to get free, no matter how much Snape snarked about it afterwards. Still, the pitiful look on Neville's face as Harry and Snape approached, followed by Snape's derisive laughter, made him think that perhaps he ought to have held out for different professor. Neville whimpered, and twisted his head between the bars.
"While I'd like to say, Longbottom, that this act of consummate idiocy on your behalf surprises me, we both know it would be a lie." Snape drew his wand.
"LubricusNeville, his head suddenly wet and slippery, wriggled free in an instant and scampered away, frantically wiping goo off his face. Snape stalked back to the dungeons, muttering to himself. Harry was frozen to the spot, caught between trying not to think about why Snape had (a clearly oft-used) lubrication spell ( ... )
