I think you are much too young to remember Adam Adamant - I was still at primary school.

There are a few things on there I didn't think I ought to have seen - like Ripping Yarns - but then when I looked them up on Wikipedia I instantly recognised the characters, so I must have caught it at some point if only a repeat or featured in a documentary or something. If you were to ask me only to count the ones where I've definitely seen/heard an entire episode at some point, there'd be quite a lot more gaps.

I've had it going round in my head all night - DOUGLAS ADAMS! JOHN PEEL! yay. It probably does help that Mitch Benn is about the same age as me (and altariel) and has two small children, so he and I have remarkably similar viewing experiences...
