Apologies, and Happy New Year . . .

Many thanks to all of you who called to check in, and especially to shutter_bit and her sweetie, who sat on the children. We spent 12 hours in the ER and toasted the new year with a bunch of medical personnel. Definitely not the best New Year's Eve we've ever had, and I would have much preferred to be spending it with our friends. So it goes ( Read more... )

You were in the hospital too? That sucks... Ashley and I were happy that at least we could spent Christmas together. Hope your feeling better!

Thanks, sweetie . . . me too! I still want to get together sometime soon, but it's going to be a bit as I'm no longer allowed to drive. Hopefully that will change soonish.

Glad to hear they let you go. I understand they'll hang on to you if they think you're about to keel over or something. Here's hoping it was something you ate and not Ebola or anything like that. :)

I'm not sure they checked for Ebola, but as I am still of *ample* flesh, it's not a likely cause anyhow :) They were nearly going to keep me, but I cried at them :)
