Apologies, and Happy New Year . . .
Many thanks to all of you who called to check in, and especially to shutter_bit and her sweetie, who sat on the children. We spent 12 hours in the ER and toasted the new year with a bunch of medical personnel. Definitely not the best New Year's Eve we've ever had, and I would have much preferred to be spending it with our friends. So it goes.
After a long night we came home with no answers. I follow up with my doctor on Wednesday, so hopefully he'll have some ideas. In the meantime, I am tired but okay.
Sorry to everyone for the last minute cancellation, and thanks to everyone who helped to get the word out. As macklinr suggested, we will attempt to celebrate at another time :) We can do a cookie/New Year's theme, or just get together and hang out . . . to me, the most important thing is having my friends around.
