In my continuing efforts to actually write about my wedding, here's a bit about the ceremony text itself, since a few people expressed interest. K is agnostic and I'd characterize myself as spiritual and attracted to ritual (and Jewish, culturally speaking). I couldn't find a pre-existing ceremony text that expressed the sentiments that I felt

Well, it had me weepy, just reading it. But then, I get weepy at Publisher's Clearing House commercials.

Truly, a beautiful ceremony. And my warmest congratulations to you both.

Thank you! My criteria for including text in the ceremony was whether it made me tear up or not. Perhaps not the swiftest of ideas, I realized, as our officiant was actually reading the thing and I was fighting to keep my mascara from running in front of 120 people :)
