Sungmin gasped as she covered her mouth using both of her hands, red eyes widening, letting hot tears trickle down her cheeks. Her biggest fear happened. All the while, she wanted to convince herself that what they were thinking were false… that Yesung wasn’t the one they saw with Yunho that night, and it was just a coincidence that Yesung finally came back to school… that Yesung isn’t a vampire.
But now that it came directly from Yesung himself… it is so heartbreaking.
She sobbed more as truth slowly dawned onto her, her hands now covering her face, only for it to be grabbed away by the new vampire, his face leaning dangerously close to hers. Yesung brushed a thumb on her tear-stained cheek, the other thumb wiping the tears away, whispering, “Ssh, don’t cry, love. It hurts me when I see you cry…”
“Hyung…” she cried.
Yesung kissed Sungmin’s forehead for a few seconds, making her stop crying. He pulled away and stared deeply onto her beautiful red eyes, smirking, “Shouldn’t you call me ‘oppa’ now, huh, Minnie? I told you, you’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen…”
“Oppa… Sungie oppa…” she weakly croaked. Up to now, Yesung is still her weakness.
“God, I love you so much, Sungmin,” he groaned after hearing that endearment from Sungmin. With his red eyes turning brighter, he pressed his lips onto Sungmin’s, with the woman immediately wrapping her arms around his neck as she responded to the slow, but deep kiss.
It was like the love she had for this man is brought back to life, turning her mind blank as a tongue evaded her cavern, moaning on his mouth, wanting for more.
The bottled feelings and desire for this man, which she kept for these past years, suddenly burst out inside her heart in an unexpected time… and this made her crazy.
It disappointed her when Yesung broke their heated kiss, making the guy chuckle. His once dead red eyes went lust-filled as he bore his pointy stares at her needy ones, his hand brushed her long hair off of her shoulder, leisurely making its way to the joint between her ear and shoulder.
He pinned her to the nearest wall, crashing their lips once again, but this time, it is rougher and needier. His left hand cupped her heavy clothed breast, kneading it slowly as his free hand snuck under her skirt, his fingers tracing her inner thigh, which quickly went to her undergarment, now groping her bottom. Sungmin just can’t control her moans due to this guy’s ministrations on her horny body.
He raised Sungmin, wrapping her legs around his waist before he inserted a finger on Sungmin’s entrance, earning a sharp gasp from her whilst she gripped his hair tightly, burying her face on his shoulder to stifle her moan. But she can’t help it already when the guy added two more fingers, instantly slamming it in and out of her in an unimaginable speed.
“Oh my God, oppa… yes… there… more… faster… aaahhh…” she shamelessly moaned, which sounded like music to Yesung’s ears.
Feeling that sticky liquid come out from Sungmin, he took a scoop of it, and brought his fingers on his mouth, tasting how sweet Sungmin’s juice is, his seducing eyes still connected with her tired ones. He got back to Sungmin’s bruised lips again, letting her taste herself as he pulled her sleeve down ‘til her shoulder got bare. He made an open mouthed kiss while grazing his lips and tongue on her cheek, down to her jawline, ending up landing on her neck.
He showered it with butterfly kisses, with Sungmin threading her fingers on his messed black hair. He brought his fangs out, and gently placed it atop her neck, whispering huskily, “Ready?”
Yesung took the tightening of her clutch on his hair as a signal that she is already preparing herself, making him smirk before widening the parting of his mouth to finally dig his teeth onto Sungmin’s skin.
However, he found himself being harshly rammed away by strong hands, and was about to stumble flat on the ground, but an arm was firmly wrapped around his waist, and a sharp thing was now pointed on his throat.
“How dare you touch my Sungmin, Crescent slave?” the angry voice came from behind him.
Yesung smirked, not even threatened by the knife Donghae was holding and the fuming glares given by Kyuhyun, who was shielding Sungmin.
“She’s yours? For all I know, he or she was first mine.”
“Fuck you, I’m Sungmin’s boyfriend!” The answer of his flared Donghae. He was to slit Yesung’s throat, but Sungmin screamed, crouching while holding her aching head, “NO!!! STOP IT!!! DON’T HURT YESUNG OPPA!!!”
He halted halfway, the knife buried not-so-deeply onto Yesung’s neck, but it wounded it, bits of blood trickling from it.
To the other two’s surprise, Yesung swiftly broke away from a stoned Donghae, pushing the other guy on the ground, astounded at his action. In just a blink of an eye, Yesung was now out of their sight.
“Shit. He got away.” Donghae cursed under his breath. But then, they heard Sungmin sob, panicking the two male vampires with her. Kyuhyun, who was in front of her, turned to face the squatting girl, and was about to hug her, but Donghae was quick to rush beside her and encage her in his arms, stroking her back as she cries.
“Oh God, what did I just do?” she wept. Kyuhyun could only look at her pitifully. He badly wants to comfort her, and tell her that it is alright, but Donghae was the one doing those right now. As much as he wants to, he can’t.

Donghae stroked Sungmin’s soft hair as he watched her snore lightly, blankly looking at her sleeping figure. “Sungmin, who do you really love, me, Kyuhyun or Yesung?”
He already went crazy because of his jealousy towards Kyuhyun, now at Yesung’s arrival, he doesn’t know what to do anymore.
Kyuhyun is Sungmin’s master. Sungmin will do everything Kyuhyun tells him to do so, whether he likes it or not. He is the one who turned him to a vampire that led him to meet the guy. Yesung, on the other hand, is Sungmin’s best friend, favorite hyung, and first love - or so as he knows. No matter how long they were apart, Yesung still has a very big part permanently reserved inside Sungmin’s heart.
How about him?
The only thing he could hold onto is the fact that he is Sungmin’s first and current boyfriend.
As tears fell from his eyes, he saw that Sungmin is also crying in her slumber. Were they thinking of the same thing?

Sungmin laughed with Eunhyuk as he turned to walk, only to bump with someone. He quickly moved away to apologize, widening his foxy eyes at the recognition of the male student.
He then cheekily grinned, waving a hand at the older guy, “Good morning, hyung!” Yesung smiled as he patted the smaller man’s head, whispering, “So, it’s ‘hyung’ now? I thought I was your ‘oppa’ last night?” Yesung’s voice was kind of seductive in Sungmin’s opinion. He slapped himself mentally for thinking that he wanted an encore to last night.
Sungmin blushed as scenes of their tryst yesterday night flashed back in his mind, his sight landing on the band aid plastered on his neck. Vampires have the natural ability to heal their wounds in just a short time, so, seeing that the cut on his neck probably still hadn’t healed by itself, he concluded that the knife Donghae used on him is an anti-vampire one.
“Oh, yeah, you are a male right now,” Yesung snapped him out of his trance with his forever sensual voice. Hyukjae just looked at them with worry, now scanning the place for Sungmin’s boyfriend.
Just in time, Donghae pulled Sungmin to him while scowling at the senior before walking away, earning a triumphant smirk from Yesung.
Donghae just dragged Sungmin without a word, ignoring the other’s whines and complaints of getting hurt because of his tight grip on his wrist.
He is fucking jealous every time Sungmin is near Yesung, but he was always able to control himself because he knows that they are just best friends. However, now that he is sure of what Yesung truly feels for his boyfriend and that Sungmin has a soft spot for this guy, he won’t let Yesung go near his Sungmin anymore.
Sungmin is aware that he shouldn’t get mad at Donghae; now that they finally discovered that Yesung is a vampire, and is actually on the bad side, he truly understands why his lover is acting like that. But he can’t help but talk to his hyung. He is still, after all, his best friend.
“I told you that you shouldn’t talk to him again! Aish, he even had the guts to go to school after what he did to you last night!” Donghae mumbled fast, loud enough for Sungmin and Eunhyuk to hear.
His anxiousness towards Yesung wasn’t still dissipating when another person whom he gets jealous with as well, appeared in front of them, an arm is extended, blocking their way to the classroom. Donghae just glowered at the younger, trying to send him the message that he is not in the mood to talk to him, but the younger didn’t budge.
“Father is looking for the three of us.”
The crease on Donghae’s forehead straightened, with Sungmin raising an eyebrow as he met gazes with his equally clueless boyfriend.

Siwon turned his chair to face the table, and put the goblet of wine back to his desk as he sensed the presence of his two sons and his nephew… niece… whatever. He clasped his hands under his chin, staring firmly at the three young vampires, who just entered his office room.
“Sit down,” he said in a monotonous, authoritative way.
The boys complied, moving to sit on the long red couch located in front of their father’s area. After settling, Siwon immediately started the conversation. “Sungmin, were you even curious on how you became a human?”
Sungmin pursed his lips whilst he heaved a deep breath, altering his short glances at the guys beside him. “I do… most of the times, to be honest,” he nervously answered.
Siwon sighed and leaned on the backrest of the chair, crossing his legs. “I think it’s time to tell you, boys, on how to do that,”
The youngest narrowed his eyes, “What do you mean?”
Their father looked at them emotionlessly, the vivid afternoon sun reflecting on his back, contrasting the seriousness of the situation they are in. “Do you want to know how to turn a vampire into a human?” This caught the three’s interest, their eyes glinting in curiosity.
“You see, there is this spell we just need to say from the bottom of our hearts in order for us to do that. You have to place a hand on that vampire’s forehead while saying it,”
“Wow,” Donghae whispered in amazement of what he just learned. So, there is a chance for them to still become humans.
“Also, your eyes have to be closed for full concentration because it doesn’t work all the time. In fact, it only worked once,” After the continuation of Siwon’s discussion, Kyuhyun and Donghae slowly diverted their gazes to the astonished vampire in between them.
“Yes,” Siwon’s confirmation made his sons turn back to him, their eyes enlarged and mouths agape. “It only worked on Sungmin.”
“We are informed that Minho was assassinated by his fellow Crescents, so it was noona who did that ceremony on you while she was finding a way to hide you from their attackers,”
Sungmin’s fist clenched, now trying to control his anger, “But what happened to my mother? Was she also killed?”
“Yes, but not by the Crescents,” The three had identical questioning looks on their handsome faces. “Then, who killed her?” It was Kyuhyun who asked.
“She was killed by the spell she casted on you, Sungmin.”
I killed my mother? Sungmin bitterly thought.
“No, you didn’t kill her, Sungmin,” Siwon quickly added, as if he could read his nephew’s mind. “In exchange to turning a vampire into a human, your life will be taken. That’s how it works.”
He feels his heart sinking. He blames himself for the death of their parents; firstly, the reason why they were running away was to protect him. If they didn’t run away because of him, his father wouldn’t be slaughtered, and his mother wouldn’t sacrifice her life just for him to be human. Yes, he didn’t actually kill them, but he is the reason why they were. Everything is his fault. Maybe the rumors about him being the cause of the end of the entire vampire race is true.
“Min…” Donghae worriedly uttered his lover’s name as he placed a hand on Sungmin’s shoulder, heaving a deep sigh when he felt the other tremble under his touch.
Sungmin is still in deep thoughts when the door suddenly opened, and revealed an old, big man, whose face had the same carvings as Siwon’s, walking with the help of his long, black cane, his black and white corporate outfit would tell everyone that he is in the highest position of whatever group he is included, beside him is an white-haired woman about his age.
Siwon, Donghae and Kyuhyun instantly stood up and faced the elders, while Sungmin needed to be pulled up by Donghae just to wake his senses up.
“Father… Mother…” Siwon’s once firm voice changed, and suddenly went polite and hesitant.
The elders, who, apparently, are Siwon’s parents, stopped behind the sofa where the three young boys stood by, their intense gazes landing on the boy at the center.
“You must be Sungmin.” The leader of the Phantoms said in his usual strong voice, sending shivers all over Sungmin’s body. He just slightly parted his lips, and nodded once; he is, in honesty, intimidated by the over-all presence of this man. He observed the two. The man looked exactly like Siwon, except for the smile, which probably he got from his mother, whom he assumed is the look-alike his mother.
So, this is how my mom looked like… she must be very beautiful… oh well, she should be… a Crescent prince fell in love with her! He really wanted to ask for a picture of his mother before, but he got tongue-tied every time he decides to ask anyone of that.
The aged man smirked, eyes never leaving his grandson, “You look like that Crescent.” There is anxiousness in the oldest male’s voice, and Sungmin can’t help but gulp and slightly hide behind Donghae due to the glares his grandfather is giving him.
“Father, you didn’t inform me that you will be arriving today,” Siwon interrupted to stop the gauche atmosphere inside the room. He tried his best for his voice not to quiver, making it low; since he was a child, he was terrified on his own father until now… even his sons were scared of the old man. His mother was naturally gentle woman.
Without a word, he elder walked near them, with the three boys giving way for the old vampire, who comfortably sat on the sofa, his hands atop his crossed legs, with his wife trailing behind him and did the same thing.
Siwon’s father spoke, “It is because we received some information that the Crescents started moving because of the Forbidden Child,” the man quickly stole a quick glance to the so-called Forbidden Child, who gulped and avoided his gaze.
None of the men inside the room spoke. Again, the Phantoms’ leader’s voice echoed, “Let’s attack the Crescents’ main house tonight.”
Siwon snapped his head to his father, his face turning red due to him flaring, and slammed his hands on the desk, his tone slightly rising, “WHAT?! But father, we aren’t prepared yet!!! Why only tell me now?!”
The older man narrowed his eyes at his only son, much to the worry of his wife, “You aren’t prepared? You should have been prepared since they attacked the South Forest! Damn it, Siwon! Nothing is going to happen tonight because it is Full Moon, and the Forbidden Child is on our side, right? I will not take a ‘no’ from you. I want your men attacking the main house tonight along with my men. Understood?”
The four younger vampires just stared at the retreating back of the old man, mouths agape due to what was told to them. To their surprise, Siwon’s mother stayed. She approached a shocked Sungmin, cupped the boy’s face, admiration fills her doe eyes - similar to Sungmin’s eyes.
She smiled. “Hello, Sungmin-ah. I’m your Dara umma’s mother. Call me granny Seonyoung, okay?” Sungmin can’t help but feel touched; knowing that his grandmother doesn’t despise him as much as his grandfather does.
“You really look like Minho… what a handsome boy…” the old woman dreamily commented as she studies the boy’s every detail. She then turned to her own son, a gentle smile was shown on her face, “Siwon, son, please take care.”
“Yes, mother.”
After the woman went out, silence filled the room, only their light breathings could be heard.
Siwon sighed, “Donghae, Kyuhyun, you inform the students, and make sure Kim Yesung won’t know this,” the two nodded and walked, stopping when their father spoke once again, “Boys, good luck. I’m proud to have you.”
This brought his oldest son to tears and run to hug him, sobbing on his shoulders. He just smiled and patted Donghae’s head. He raised his head and met gazes with his youngest son, who was also on the verge of tears, but is slightly smiling at him.

Kyuhyun heaved deep sigh after tying Sungmin’s wrists on his bedpost, separately. He looked at the girl - who just turned from a boy minutes ago - and saw her staring at him.
“I’ll melt if you continued staring at me like that. I still have a war to go,” Kyuhyun joked, trying to lighten up the heightening atmosphere between the two of them, the nervousness of fighting against the Crescents added to that.
“If only I could do that…” Sungmin breathed as she averted her gaze to the side. “Can’t I really go out to fight?” she asked.
The male stroked her hair, making her look at him with pleading eyes. “I’m sorry, Sungmin. You’re supposed to stay here. We have to protect you… I will protect you.”
“But I want to fight with you, Kyuhyun-sshi…”
Kyuhyun smiled tenderly, his fingers now caressing her cheeks, “Could you please call me ‘Kyu’ for the last time? I want to hear it straight from you before I go…”
Sungmin blinked, causing for tears to flow down, croaking, “Kyu, please come back… promise me you will come back to me…”
He pressed his palm against the girl’s cheek, his nose touching hers, breath felt by each other, “I am yours, Min… I am always with you…”
She shook her head vigorously, more fluid falling out from her doe eyes, “No… no… please don’t speak as if you’re saying goodbye… promise me that you will come back… with Donghae… with uncle Siwon… with Hyukkie, Kibummie, Wookie, Heechul hyung, everyone! Please, Kyu…”
Thinking that Sungmin will not stop, he just nodded before leaning his lips onto Sungmin’s, savoring the girl’s sweetness, sharing the kiss that would probably be the last they would share.
As they moved away, Kyuhyun was already crying. He gave Sungmin’s lips several pecks before whispering, “I love you so much, Sungmin…”
“I love you too, Kyuhyun…” He was kind of caught off-guard due to what she said.
Due to the recent happenings, Sungmin finally realized that it was Kyuhyun whom she really loves. She loves Donghae, so much, if anyone is curious, but her love for Kyuhyun is much more intense, which she realized too late. It is possible for someone to love two different persons at the same time, but of different degrees.
“…so make sure that you will live… and let’s live happily ever after, okay?”
Last love, last kiss, last dream... that is Sungmin to Kyuhyun, and Kyuhyun to Sungmin.
Donghae, who was listening from outside the door, is now silently crying his heart out; he just lost his battle against Kyuhyun.

Heechul swayed two of his fingers, signaling his team to enter. Their team is assigned to break thru the back gate of the Crescents’ main house. As the leader of the team, he was in front. They are formed in one line, tiptoeing so as not for them to be heard by the guards… if ever there is.
One thing they found hard about this mission is that they can’t see anything. The place is naturally dark, so they have no choice but to rely on their senses, and to their mind reader’s ability. For Heechul’s team, the mind reader with them is Kibum.
“Ow…”
Heechul stopped after hearing Kibum, who is beside him, groan. He was about to tell him to keep quiet, but the younger whimpered, “Hee…Heechul hyung… my… my head aches…”
The red-haired kneeled beside his dongsaeng, and stroked his hair, worried. “Yah, why does it hurt?” Kibum can’t take the pain anymore. He tried his best in making his voice as low as possible, but he really can’t help it; this is too much for him. It is like his brain is being squeezed.
“Hyung… cover your ears! The Crescents casted a spell on us! I… I was just the first one to… feel this… because I’m the one… who had sensitive senses!” Kibum uttered, now clutching his head.
But it was too late. Heechul and the others already felt that whizzing sound inside their head, and the resonance it made went straight to their brain, overtaking their whole body. They are now slumped on the ground, trying to stay awake because they are on the enemies’ territory. However, only Heechul managed to stay conscious for a longer time.
He looked around, cursing because the area has zero visibility. He badly wanted to reach for the other guys, but he can’t even move his body; he is paralyzed. He could still hear some groans, but he is a hundred percent sure that most are now knocked out. He feels so bad; he is the leader; he should be responsible for this… although he can’t do anything.
Before darkness takes him, he is sure that he saw Hangeng approach him with a smirk.
Sungmin arched her back, her eyes turning to its brightest red it ever made, catching Leeteuk’s attention. The blonde held his dongsaeng’s shoulders, shaking it because Sungmin is staring blankly at somewhere in front of her, her pink lips slightly parted.
“Min? Min? What’s wrong?” he whispered.
Then, a different voice was heard, but it came from Sungmin… a matured woman’s voice…
“The end is near.”
