Disclaimer: I don't own the characters... I also got the concept from a Korean manhwa (manga), but I changed the plot, just the concept... for a good start, though.
Summary: Lee Sungmin is a strong boy who had feminine features that people always mistook him as a girl. His normal life was then changed when a guy named Cho Kyuhyun suddenly appeared and changed his life TOTALLY.

He inhales the scent of the wine that lingers on the glass… treasuring the different kind of aroma it gives off that could make him this calm in spite of a dangerous situation that he is in right now. He stood up and faced the gigantic window and enjoyed the peaceful view of the whole Phantom neighborhood. It won’t be long that he would see the total opposite of this beautiful scenery, now that the Crescents started moving.
He looked down and saw a group of young boys arriving. Two boys had that serious and pissed look on their faces, while the other two was happily chatting. He sighed and put down his wine glass then spoke, “Leeteuk-ah, call the three of them. I want them here now.” The assistant bowed and made his way out of Siwon’s office.
Just minutes after that, the three people he’d wanted to see, came. He let them sit on the elegant sofa placed in front of his table, facing him. He played with his pen and smiled, “How was the vacation, boys?” Donghae answered cheekily while wrapping his arm around Sungmin’s neck, “Fun! I killed a thousand monsters, father!!!” Siwon chuckled then turned to his youngest son, “How about you, Kyuhyun?”
Kyuhyun snorted and propped his elbow on the side of the sofa, “It isn’t even called a vacation, father… it is a mission and it’s not fun… though we got to discover some interesting things…” Kyuhyun looked at Sungmin, who gulped and avoided his master’s eyes.
The Phantom leader’s face turned serious when he looked at his son’s servant, “I know you have something to ask. I’ll answer it, Sungmin.” Sungmin gulped before having a worried glance at Donghae, who just nudged him to go speak. “Uh, I… Sir, who are my parents and… why am I the… forbidden child?”
“Your parents are Phantom Princess Dara and Crescent Prince Minho. In short, you are a royalty of both groups. Dara is my noona… which means, you are my nephew… and niece.”
Siwon placed his elbow on the table and put it under his chin, “You are the product of Minho’s and Dara’s forbidden love… that’s why you are the Forbidden child. We have been looking for you… It’s a good thing that it was Zhoumi who found and raised you… Also, Kyuhyun was the one who turned you into a vampire.” Sungmin frowned, still confused, “Have you known from the start that I’m what you’re looking for?”
The Phantom leader shook his head, “At first, I just thought that you looked like Minho and I don’t want to jump to conclusions so I continued observing you… but when Donghae told me that you became as powerful as you are during full moon at that one quarter moon but didn’t switch genders, that made me sure that you are their child.”
The three boys felt their hairs stand up with what they are hearing. Kyuhyun knows that Princess Dara is his aunt so when old man Zhoumi told them that Sungmin is Dara’s child, he felt awkward being with the guy that he hadn’t drank his blood for two days, which he haven’t done ever. “Then, why are you looking for me? Were the Crescents looking for me too?”
“Since the day we discovered noona gave birth and died, we started looking for you. The prophecy stated that the forbidden child will bring war to the both groups of vampires and he or she will end the whole race.” Sungmin shivered. So, he will be the reason that Phantoms and Crescents will start the war? “Does ending the race means… death?”
Kyuhyun and Donghae looked at their father as if what they think won’t be his answer. Siwon sighed, “Yes. I have to be honest with you, Sungmin. Your existence is a threat to the vampire race, therefore, as much as possible, we will try to keep you from going out and interact with Crescents… they are planning to kill you.”

Yoona went to the Cho mansion in search for her brother, Heechul. She wants to find him fast so that she won’t bump by Donghae and Sungmin. She hates Sungmin as much as she despises Sungson. He kind of resembles the girl, which made her blood boil everytime she remembers that face.
Just to her bad luck, she heard Donghae’s voice as she passed by a door. “Come on, Sungmin! I want to go on a date with you!!!” She moved away for a bit and frowned, “Date? Is he gay?” She heard Sungmin’s whining next, “But not as a girl!!!”
“But you look like a girl!”
She then recognized Heechul’s voice, “That’s it! I will be in charge of your makeover! No buts, Lee Sungmin!!!” Donghae chuckled, “Hyung, you should call him Sungson when he is a girl!” Yoona covered her mouth to prevent her from gasping, “Sungmin and Sungson is the same?!”
“Donghae-ah! Go out!”
“Why?”
“It should be a surprise!!! You will be more mesmerized by his beauty!”
“Really? Okay, hyung! I trust you!”
“Yah! What are you planning to do?! HAEEEEE~! DON'T GOOOO~!!!!!!”
Yoona could hear Donghae’s footsteps coming near her, so she panicked and hid behind a large plant in front of the door. The latter came out with a happy expression on his face then stopped. Yoona stopped her breathing… Donghae might have sensed her presence.
The guy looked around him and was about to look at the plant she was hiding at, but Eunhyuk appeared, totally distracting Donghae. “Hae! How’s Sungmin?” Donghae beamed and pulled his friend to the other way, “Heechul-hyung’s doing his makeup! I know he’ll be beautiful as ever!”
When she couldn’t hear the boys’ voices, she stormed in the room where Heechul and Sungmin are there. The two guys flinched when the door was smashed open, especially Sungmin as he sees Yoona red in anger. Yoona rushed to Sungmin but was stopped by her brother, “You! You’re Sungson?!” Sungmin widened his eyes, can’t say anything… his secret will now be spoiled… he promised Yesung that he’ll help him Yoona to leave him again.
The tall girl snorted as she struggled free from Heechul’s grip, “Does Yesung know this?! Did the two of you plan this?!” Yes, they planned that he will pretend as his girlfriend but since Kyuhyun erased his memory about the day they first did it, Yesung totally forgot it. However, if he said that Yesung had something to do with it, Yoona might hurt him.
“No. He doesn’t have any idea about me being Sungson.”
Heechul, who just got what they’re talking about, looked curiously at Sungmin, thinking that how could an innocent mind like his would ever think to do this kind of thing? The girl smirked, “Want me to tell him for you?” Sungmin shook his head vigorously. If she tells Yesung, he will ask him and might remember the events on that day… including the scene where Kyuhyun bit Sungmin. He doesn’t want him to know that vampires exist. “No! Please don’t! He doesn’t know that I am already a vampire!”
Yoona widened her eyes with the new thing she discovered, “You’re a human before?!” The guy replied with a nod. She clapped her hands and laughed, “Wow, look what we got here… a human turned vampire?! Are you a Crescent?! Who bit you?” Sungmin looked at Heechul, as if asking if he should say that it is Kyuhyun or not, while the other got it.
Heechul placed his hand on his sister’s shoulder, “Yoon, it doesn’t matter who bit him but he is a Phantom. Just don’t say it to Yesung.” Yoona crossed her arms in front of her chest and shifted her weight on her right leg, “On one condition… Stop this Sungson act and help me get him.”
He really planned on doing the first condition, but the hell will he help her get Yesung.

Yesung was studying for his exams for tomorrow when he received a text message from Sungmin. Since it’s from his beloved dongsaeng, he quickly grabbed his phone and enthusiastically read it.
From: Minnie
Hi hyung, Sungson-noona wants to meet up with you. She said at your meeting place, 3pm. She wants to say something to you… I hope it is something positive~ hwaiting, hyung~! ^^
He looked at the clock and it’s 2:30 pm. He still has 30 minutes to prepare. He thought that maybe Sungson wants to go out with him again so he dressed himself with his best casual clothes and sprayed enough amount of perfume on his body.
“Hair… check! Clothes… check! Shoes… check! Perfume… check!”
He glanced at his wristwatch again and saw that the time is 2:45. The travel time to get there would be at least 10 minutes so he has a lot of time. He wouldn’t want to make Sungson wait.
He arrived at the place at exactly 2:55. He is 5 minutes early so he thought Sungson isn’t there yet, having a sigh of relief. Yet, he saw her sitting on the bench, looking at her feet. “Oh God, she came earlier?! What a shame!” He approached her and smiled sheepishly at her, “Hi Sungson… Have you been waiting for a long time?”
Sungmin shook his head with a sad smile, “No. I just arrived.” Yesung sat beside ‘her’, obviously getting nervous because it had been months since he last saw her and she was still as gorgeous as ever even in just shirt and jeans. “So, what is it that you want to say?”
Sungmin gulped, heart beating very fast. He wants to say it without hurting Yesung for he knows that the latter likes Sungson very much, who doesn’t even exists. “Yesung-ah… Sungmin told me that you wanted to date me again. Is that true?” Yesung beamed and blushed, “Yeah. I want to know you more.” The blond sighed and looked straightly at Yesung’s eyes, “I can’t, Yesung.”
He felt that it was like his heart was torn into pieces with that, “Why?” Sungmin was now guilty just seeing the hurt expression on his hyung’s face so he stood up, back facing the guy sitting, “I said I liked you but I didn’t say that I loved you. Besides, I’m already dating someone… I’m really sorry, Yesung…” He walked away but a pair of arms encircled his waist. “I don’t care if you are already dating someone…”
Sungmin harshly removed Yesung’s arms around him, this time, he faced him, but with a pissed look, “Just give up on me! I won’t like you! And you shouldn’t like me either! I’m a bitch, a slut, any bad things that could be said to a dirty girl like me!” The guy didn’t shed a tear, he was angry… “Who are you dating?”
The smaller answered, “Lee Donghae.”
After that, he left Yesung dumbfounded with a heavy heart. He badly wants to say sorry to him but it is for his own good.
His arm was grabbed and thought that it was Yesung again so he shouted, “Why won’t you just---!” But he stopped, realizing that it was Donghae. The latter released the other and sighed, “You even used me to make your excuse up, huh.” Sungmin avoided his look, “Sorry. You want it, do you?”
“No.”
Sungmin looked at him curiously, “What?” Donghae held the smaller’s shoulders and stared at his eyes intensely and seriously, “I want it to be real… not just an excuse.”
He knows that Donghae would be a better choice than Yesung. Besides, he would be safe with him… The latter even knows his identity… He feels that even though he just met Donghae in less than a year, he knows him more than himself. He knows that he will be happier with Donghae. He doesn’t care with the fact that they are cousins… hey, Kyuhyun’s mother is Siwon’s cousin!
In the vampire world, you can marry anyone… even your sibling… Only the same sex relationship wasn’t that encouraged and accepted.
He smiled at the cute guy, “Okay.” The taller beamed, smile reaching the side of his ears, “Really? We’re really dating?” Sungmin nodded, making Donghae jump and hug him tight. Just by seeing Donghae happy and act like a child makes him happy.
Then, his phone rang and the caller ID showed Yesung’s name. He hesitated to answer it but felt guilty that he had hurt him so he answered it. “Hyung? What happened?”
“…”
“Hyung? Are you with Sungson-noona?” It’s really hard to lie…
He heard sobs from the other line, making him worry, “Hyung?! Why are you crying?!”
“Can we meet? I need you, Minnie… Please…”
He looked at Donghae, asking for permission. The latter nodded, knowing that Sungmin is already his so just a few hours with his heartbroken best friend won’t hurt. Sungmin smiled at his boyfriend, silently thanking him, “Okay, hyung. Where are you?”
“At the playground near your former apartment.”
Sungmin removed his wig and borrowed Donghae’s leather jacket. He let Donghae go first because he knows that Yesung will ask him to hang out and Hae will surely get bored… and jealous.
He found Yesung sitting at the swing, staring at nowhere. He patted his sad hyung’s shoulder, “Hyung?” The older smiled and gestured for his dongsaeng to sit beside him. “Hyung, what’s wrong?”
Yesung looked at the ground, “Sungson said that she doesn’t want to date me because she’s dating Donghae.” He pretended that he didn’t know it, of course, “Donghae? Really?” Yesung raised his head and pouted at Sungmin, “But I can see that Donghae likes you!!! It is impossible for him to date Sungson if he likes you…” He mumbled, but Sungmin heard it clearly, “Aish, why did he get you and Sungson from me?! Aish…”
“What?”
He smiled sheepishly, “Nothing, Min!” He stood up and held Sungmin’s wrist, “Let’s have fun! I want to forget for now…” Being the understanding friend that he is, he agreed. He thought that he should also make Yesung happy after hurting him… But… based on what he heard, he just discovered that Yesung likes him… Him and Sungson… He doesn’t know that he had been liking the same person.
They went to the arcades, ate in different food chains, bought a lot of things and sang on a KTV place where Yesung let out all his feelings through the songs he sang.
Since Yesung’s place was nearer than the Cho mansion, Yesung bid goodbye first, though he insisted on bringing Sungmin home since he was the one who asked him out. He was really thankful for having a fun best friend like Sungmin. He just wished that Sungmin would love him back.

Then, his phone rang and the caller ID showed Yesung’s name. He hesitated to answer it but felt guilty that he had hurt him so he answered it. “Hyung? What happened?”
“…”
“Hyung? Are you with Sungson-noona?” It’s really hard to lie…
He heard sobs from the other line, making him worry, “Hyung?! Why are you crying?!”
“Can we meet? I need you, Minnie… Please…”
He looked at Donghae, asking for permission. The latter nodded, knowing that Sungmin is already his so just a few hours with his heartbroken best friend won’t hurt. Sungmin smiled at his boyfriend, silently thanking him, “Okay, hyung. Where are you?”
“At the playground near your former apartment.”
Sungmin removed his wig and borrowed Donghae’s leather jacket. He let Donghae go first because he knows that Yesung will ask him to hang out and Hae will surely get bored… and jealous.
He found Yesung sitting at the swing, staring at nowhere. He patted his sad hyung’s shoulder, “Hyung?” The older smiled and gestured for his dongsaeng to sit beside him. “Hyung, what’s wrong?”
Yesung looked at the ground, “Sungson said that she doesn’t want to date me because she’s dating Donghae.” He pretended that he didn’t know it, of course, “Donghae? Really?” Yesung raised his head and pouted at Sungmin, “But I can see that Donghae likes you!!! It is impossible for him to date Sungson if he likes you…” He mumbled, but Sungmin heard it clearly, “Aish, why did he get you and Sungson from me?! Aish…”
“What?”
He smiled sheepishly, “Nothing, Min!” He stood up and held Sungmin’s wrist, “Let’s have fun! I want to forget for now…” Being the understanding friend that he is, he agreed. He thought that he should also make Yesung happy after hurting him… But… based on what he heard, he just discovered that Yesung likes him… Him and Sungson… He doesn’t know that he had been liking the same person.
They went to the arcades, ate in different food chains, bought a lot of things and sang on a KTV place where Yesung let out all his feelings through the songs he sang.
Since Yesung’s place was nearer than the Cho mansion, Yesung bid goodbye first, though he insisted on bringing Sungmin home since he was the one who asked him out. He was really thankful for having a fun best friend like Sungmin. He just wished that Sungmin would love him back.

Sungmin went through his and Donghae’s secret entrance to the mansion which was located at the back. He was tiptoeing and hiding behind the tall bushes.
He stopped when he was on the garden area… because he heard Kyuhyun’s voice, but he was talking to neither Donghae nor Siwon.
When Kyuhyun stopped talking and he got a closer view, his eyes widened in shock with what he saw…
Kyuhyun was kissing Ryeowook. And he felt… jealous?
