also, i didn't read the article yet but the NYT just ran an article talking about the mormons and how they're mostly responsible for the prop 8 passage so i'm hoping people will start to realize that it's not the fault of black people... grr. it's so frustrating how stupid people are sometimes...

Thanks. And thanks for the sympathy. The current climate of gay and lesbian activist movement is that gay marriage will be legalized soon, so in general things are still hopeful.

When you finish your undergraduate thesis can I read it? I'm always interested in reading new studies and information about GLBT people in Japan.
