Will stood on the deck of the Pearl, in the finest clothes he'd been able to find. The ceremony was to be a small one; only Anamaria and Commodore Norrington (ugh) had been invited, and of course himself, Elizabeth and Jack

Elizabeth exited the cabin, looking radiant. Her veil was cast down over her face and she reveled in this moment, feeling her heart pound at just the sight of her William looking so handsome. She could hardly believe that today she would finally become his wife.
And tonight he would make her his in deed and not just in name. She stood there and attempted to quell the blush that stained her cheeks. "Please hurry, Jack," she whispered.
Jack Sparrow has no idea how to perform a wedding. Which is not to say he doesn't want to--he would have been quite unhappy if they hadn't wanted him to do it--just that he's been scouring pages of a book he's never read before looking for references to marriage.
The book is the Bible, and Jack has pretty much decided to just make up his own wedding speech, because when he finds any verses at all, they seem to have words like 'obey' that are just going to make Elizabeth spit. And he can't see them being about her anyway. No, best to just do it their own way.
After all, who's ever made rules to a pirate wedding?
"Ah, good, everyone's here, then." Bride, groom, two witnesses.
The entire world narrowed down as Elizabeth came into view. There was only her, and Jack's words sounded muffled as Will reached for her hands, unable to tear his eyes from her. His heart was pounding, his hands trembling faintly on hers as he took a shaky breath.
They were really doing it. At last, Elizabeth would be his wife. He hardly dared believe it was possible.
Her fingers had tightened involuntarily around the bouquet in her hands. There were no cream colored roses this time, but a colorful bouquet of tropical flowers like orchids and lillies, as bright and filled with personality as the young woman who held them.
When she joined the wedding party she handed her bouquet to Norrington to hold, after a moment's hesitation, as she trusted him more. Then Will took her hands and she could feel them trembling, and something sweet and painful twisted in her chest. Her fingers tightened around his and she met his eyes. It felt like she had been waiting for this moment her whole life.
Jack clears his throat, mostly just to see if he'll be able to catch Will's attention. It's wonderful how he's staring at Elizabeth and all, but traditionally, as he understands it, there's supposed to be some sort of order or ceremony to these things.
Not that he has any idea what it is. Ah, well. He's Captain Jack Sparrow. He'll wing it.
"Ah--right. So everyone's here," he says again, gesturing grandly at the assembled party. "You, William." He leans in close to Will's face, then swivels to peer just as closely at Elizabeth. "And you, Elizabeth." He straightens. "And some other fine people, or not so fine. We're all here so you scurvy--er, gentleman and lady--can bloody well get married already."
