Title: When an Assassin Learns to Love -Chapter 3: Confusion

Author’s Notes: I`ve been hesitating if I should start writing this now but, oh well, this fic has both yaoi and het versions yaoi will be posted on akame_ while the het version will be posted at akame_het
Summary: Kamenashi Kazuya was assigned to kill Akanishi Jin, the most influential non-politician person in Japan along with his daughter Akanishi Hikari. The question is, will Kazuya be able to accomplish the mission, or not?
"I... I'm sorry Jin-sama? Did you just ask me to be your butler?" Kazuya questioned to assure that he heard Jin right..
"Yeah, if you want," Jin responded.
"B-but..."
"If you're thinking about Hikari, I can find her a new person to take care of her,"
Kazuya thought, "This is bad, what should I do? I might experience the weird feelings again. But if I get closer to him, I can finish my mission faster and then I won't experience the doki doki thing anymore,"
"Of course, if that's what Jin-sama wants, I can never say no," Kazuya gave his answer.
A big grin was plastered on Jin's face, "Yatta!"
Kazuya could just smile at Jin's childish acts. Sometimes, it's hard to believe that someone with Jin's personality was actually the most influential man in Japan.
The next day, Hikari's new butler came, "Taguchi Junnosuke desu, yoroshiku onegaishimasu,"
"Hikari, this guy is Junno and he's gonna be taking care of you from now on," Jin told his daughter.
"How about Kazuya? Is Kazuya leaving?" HIkari asked.
Jin shook his head, "Kazuya's gonna be taking care of daddy now,"
"Sou ka," then Hikari ran to Junno, looked up to him and smiled, "watashi wa Akanishi Hikari, go sai desu, yoroshiku!"
"Kawaii!" Junno quickly reacted.
"Junno can carry Hikari if Junno wants,"
Junno could only just chuckle and carried Hikari, "I'm gonna take care of you so don't worry,"
"Hai!" Hikari then embraced Junno.
"So Junno, all the instructions of what to do is in your room, my cell number is also there. Don't worry about Hikari, she's a good girl," Jin said, "Kazu, let's go,"
"Hai,"
Kazuya bowed to Junno and followed Jin to his car to drive him to his work.
"Kazu?" Jin called.
"Yes Jin-sama?" Kazuya responded.
"You won't mind being my driver as well right?"
"Of course, anything Jin-sama orders me to do,"
"Don't worry, I'll increase your salary,"
When they arrived at the Akanishi Group of Companies main building, Jin told Kazuya that he can do whatever and go to wherever he wanted until further notice.
"Are you sure Jin-sama? I can wait here if you want," Kazuya asked in confirmation.
"Yeah, I'll call you in case I'll need your service. My secretary will take over whenever I'm at work," Jin answered.
"Is that so, then I'll be just around,"
"See you later, and Kazu, take care," Jin then entered the building.
The moment Kazuya went back to the car, Kazuya made a call to their headquarters.
"Yes, I'm getting closer in fulfilling my mission," he told to whoever was on the other line, "hai, I'll finish this as soon as I can. I'll make a report again when I can,"
Three months passed since Kazuya became Jin's butler Jin became closer and more comfortable towards him. He even sometimes ask Kazuya out for a drink. Kazuya would even give Jin a massage every night. For some unknown reasons, Kazuya was already liking his current job more than being an assassin.
One night, Jin was currently locking himself in his office. He was not working but instead he was thinking about Kazuya. It was the only place where he can do everything he can without anyone seeing or hearing him.
"Kazuya Kazuya Kazuya," Jin kept on saying Kazuya's name over and over again, "why do I always want to be with you? Do I love you? I know you're special but... is this love?"
Outside his office, Kazuya was there sitting on a sofa nearby. He was currently waiting for Jin to come out from his office. Suddenly, Junno came.
"Kazuya-san?"
"Taguchi-kun, you still awake?" Kazuya stood up to show respect.
"Yeah, Hikari-sama just fell asleep," Junno then sat beside Kazuya and signaled him to sit as well.
"Are you enjoying your work?" Kazuya asked.
"Most definitely. Hikari-sama is such an angel. No wonder Jin-sama named her that way," then it was Junno's turn to ask, "you? Are you enjoying yours?"
"Me? I..."
Junno smiled, "Maybe I'll take that as a yes,"
"Huh?"
"It's obvious that you're enjoying being with the Master,"
"How come?"
"You look happy when you're with him,"
"You think I do?"
Junno nodded, "100% sure,"
"Taguchi-kun, I have another question," Kazuya paused for a bit, "do you think, I like the Master?"
Junno made a thinking gesture, "If you'll ask me I'll answer yes. But of course the final answer will be from you, you may not know it now but someday you will,"
The next morning, Jin finally decided to come out from his office. The first thing he saw was Kazuya's sleeping figure on the sofa.
Jin smiled and told himself, "You really waited for me huh?"
Jin carried Kazuya in bridal style and decided to bring him to his room. But he remembered that his own room was nearer to their current location.
"You won't get mad sleeping in my room right?" Jin thought with a smile on his face.
He brought Kazuya to his room and laid him on the bed. Jin grabbed a chair and placed it beside the bed. He sat on it and watched as Kazuya was peacefully sleeping.
"Jin...sama..." Kazuya sleep talked, "suki da..."
Jin couldn't hide the evidence of happiness on his face with what he heard from Kazuya. He even took a picture of Kazuya while sleeping.
Jin chuckled silently and uttered, "Such an angel,"
Jin stood up and leaned towards Kazuya, he whispered, "I'm still not sure with what I feel for you. But I won't let anyone or anything take you away from me," and then he kissed Kazuya's forehead.
