Author’s Notes: since Ryo asked me to do this part.
Summary: Aya will now be introduced to the Ueda clan. How will she overcome her nervousness?
Aya was currently freaking out in her room. Ryo called her ten minutes ago that he will pick her up and will introduce her to his family. He also said that they were expecting her for supper. She doesn't know what to wear so she just wore what her mom gave her. Five minutes passed and Ryo came to fetch her. He was surprised with what he saw.
"Wow, like wow? Hideki Aya, wearing something girl-ish? Something happened?" Ryo asked.
Aya was pouting, "Mom made me wear these! OK!? You know I hate wearing stuffs like this,"
Aya was wearing blue blouse for top, black jeans and a baby blue shoes. She was also wearing the watch Jin gave her plus the necklace Ryo have her before.
Ryo chuckled, "It looks fine, don't be so grumpy about it or else my dad will tease you,"
"Hai hai! Let's go," Aya said.
They went out of the house and this time, Aya was surprised with what she saw parking just right in front of their house, "Is this YOURS?"
It was a red 2008 model of Ferrari f430 Spider.
"Uh yeah, is there something wrong with my car?" Ryo asked.
"No, nothing, it's just, where the hell did you hide this? I haven't seen this at your place before,"
"Oh, I don't use it often so I leave it at our main house,"
"Do you even already have your license?" Aya questioned.
Ryo smiled, "Not yet, but I don't break the law so, I'll be fine, get in," Ryo opened the door for Aya.
Aya sat on the passenger's seat and buckled up as Ryo also did his. He started the engine and started driving just below the speed limit.
"This is not a car of a middle class person," Aya said.
"It is a middle class person's car,"
Aya's eyes widened, "I don't know in what angle or what way you'll see that this car is freaking expensive!"
"Why are you being so frustrated about it? It's cheap so no worries,"
After thirty minutes of driving, they finally arrived at the Ueda Residence, their main house. Aya was just all stunned when she saw their house. They went through the back gate.
"I seriously don't see this as a house of a middle class family like you're telling me," Aya told Ryo.
Then Ryo pointed something, "That's my room there, by the balcony,"
When they entered the house, they were welcomed by a very cute five-year-old boy that ran to Ryo, "Ryo-niichan!"
Ryo carried the boy and faced Aya, "This is my younger brother, Ueda Hikari,"
Hikari let himself down and went to Aya, "Are you Aya-neechan?"
Aya smiled at him and said, "Yup, that's me,"
Hikari then whispered something to Aya.
Aya smiled and chuckled a bit then Hikari ran away.
"What did he say?" Ryo asked.
"He told me that you're always talking about me when you're paying a visit here,"
Ryo blushed and uttered, "That little brat,"
Then Ryo noticed that Aya was getting pale, "Nervous?"
"Yeah, I don't know if they'll like me or what," Aya said then Ryo held her hand and smiled at her.
"Don't worry, they already like you,"
"But..."
"Sshh... there's nothing to worry about, let's go, they're waiting for us at the living room," then Aya nodded.
When they arrived at the living room, Aya saw two ladies and two guys sitting and talking to each other. She felt more nervous when they looked at her. The first to greet her was the lady probably in her late 30's or early 40's. She stood up and approached her, "You're probably Aya-chan, I'm Ryo's mom, Ueda Sakura. I'm so happy that we finally had the chance to know you,"
"H-hai, me too.." Aya replied nervously.
"Aww, don't be nervous, we don't bite," Mrs. Ueda said, "here, have a sit,"
Mrs. Ueda offered Aya to sit on a double sofa and Ryo sat beside her. Mrs. Ueda then sat beside a man that looked like on his mid-40's.
"The man beside my mom is my father, Ueda Ryuu," Ryo said, "then those two sitting opposite to us are my grand father and grand mother,"
"H-hajimemashite.." Aya nervously greeted them.
Then Ryo's dad chuckled, "Did she drink coffee before coming here? She looks like she's going to faint anytime,"
"Her hands are even colder than ice," Ryo added, "hey, don't be nervous,"
"G-gomenasai," Aya apologized to them.
"Dear, are you apologizing for being nervous?" Ueda's grandmother asked.
"I-I guess so," Aya answered.
Then finally, the grandfather spoke, "You know, Ryo's changed a lot since he met you. We were actually surprised when he told us that he decided to inherit the family business, he said that it was because of you so he can give you a better future once you're married,"
"Yeah, we've been having a hard time to convince our son before to inherit it. It'll be such a waste if someone not from this side of the family that will inherit such a very successful and large business," Mr. Ueda added.
"Ryosuke sure likes to talk about you," the mother said.
Aya blushed then she spoke, "Can I ask you a question? I mean to all of you?"
"Sure dear, go ahead,"
"Well... you know my status and I'm not rich... I mean, big people like you... don't you want someone rich for the heir as well?" Aya asked.
The four of them laughed and then the grandfather spoke, "A girl someone like you, changing my grandson's way of thinking and personality big time is way even better than making him marry someone rich,"
"We truly are grateful to you for doing all the trouble for the betterment of Ryo," grandmother gratified.
"S-sou ka," Aya smiled.
"I told you they like you," Ryo said.
Then there was a smirk on Mr. Ueda's face, "Ne, Aya-chan, have you and my son already done it?"
Mrs. Ueda quickly whacked his head, "Ryuu!"
Aya and Ryo blushed with the question. Since Aya was too shy to answer Ryo decided to do it, "I don't have any plans about it until we get married,"
"Then let's get you married!" Mr. Ueda suddenly said.
"Ryuu! They're too young for marriage!" Mrs. Ueda countered then she looked at Aya, "By the way dear, next time, bring your mother and father here so we can talk about at what age the two of you will get married so that we can officially pass to Ryo the management of our family business,"
"Hai I will, but I'm pretty sure they want it after we finish our studies," Aya responded.
"You two, where do you plan to go to college?" grandfather asked.
"Well, we recently received our notice of acceptance in University of Tokyo," Ryo answered, "and as we talked about I'll be taking Business Management and later on will continue to have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management,"
"How about Aya-chan?"
"I uh.. I decided to take Electrical and Electronics Engineering," Aya replied.
"Don't you two want to study in Europe or in US?" Mr. Ueda asked.
"I want to, but we don't really have the money to afford it,"
"Then we'll pay for it,"
"B-but..."
The grandfather smiled and said, "We'll do everything to support you two for your better future, so all you have to do is study hard and just be together,"
"I am.. I think that's too much," Aya said.
Then Ryo held her hand and nodded at her, "Just take it,"
"But Ryo..."
"Please, for me,"
Aya sighed in defeat and said, "Fine, for you,"
"Tell your parents about it that you'll be our scholar," grandfather told her.
Aya stood up and said, "Arigatou gozaimasu!"
When supper was ready, they started to eat together and talk about stuffs. After eating supper, Ryo brought Aya to his room. She even saw a picture of Ryo when he was a child, "Kawaii!!!"
"I don't really like to smile when I was still a kid," Ryo said.
"But what I see now is a happy Ryo,"
Then Ryo embraced her, "It's because of you, you're my happiness,"
"So are you,"
"Aya, if I didn't change, will you still love me?" Ryo asked.
"As long as you're Ueda Ryosuke, I'll love you," then this time, it was Aya who asked something, "Ryo.. you have a nice family, why did you decide to live on your own..."
Ryo pulled back, he went to the balcony and Aya followed, "They're not like this before.. my mom and dad got separated and they just recently been together again... I was told that it was my fault they separated.. my grandfather only thinks about the business and nothing else... they all changed when I did..."
"But still, why are you still living alone?"
"Cause I can be near you if I'm living on my own,"
When it was already 10 in the evening, Ryo decided to drive Aya home. He went back to their main house and decided to spend a night with his family that happened for the first time after so many years.
