How you gonna go from celebrating a wedding to sitting in a courtroom listening to divorced couples haggling over money and custody and what school their kids go to? Ugh. No family law practice for me. Ever.

I have to be at work for approximately 6 more hours, but I fear my brain is already on vacation. To make things worse, I'm pretty sure I should be bringing my laptop so I can do work. My presentation is in 2 weeks from today, and I have assloads of work to do. And an assload is a lot, lemme tell you.

Seven hours a night isn't cutting it. Or maybe I'm just bored. Who knows. I had every intention of staying at work until 6 to get ahead since I won't be here Friday, but I can't stand the thought of being here a moment longer. I think I've been working here too long. I started to think today that wearing skirts and little sweater sets and button-down shirts isn't so horrible. What is wrong with me!!?? Jeans, t-shirts and sneakers. I miss them. I'm gonna keep repeating that.

It has definitely been a good day...on a Monday, no less. My new MCS cd finally arrived. I was productive at work and didn't really even get that restless. The effort to find a new roommate and/or move into a 1BR has begun. And, I got a letter from my older brother. Yay for today not sucking.

I'm reading all these cases on covenants not to compete in employment contracts, and one of the cases involved an employee of Magic Fingers, Inc. Yes, the company that makes vibrating machines for beds.

I cannot stop yawning at work. The hours after lunch are torture, as my belly is full and I'm in the mood for a nap. Also, it's too damn quiet in this office. I may give in and start bringing my mp3 player. I just can't take the silence. Also, not having windows sucks. I didn't even know it rained, but apparently it did.
