I sort of forgot about livejournal. I still read my friends page pretty regularly, but I never write anything myself. Facebook & Twitter can't really replace livejournal. Question
Why is it that there seem to be such a disproportionate number of girls who are raised in church and get pregnant? Is it because their parents fail/refuse to discuss contraception because they think it will encourage premarital sex? Is it karma/God punishing them? It just seems to me that out of all the people I know that had sex (gasp!) before ( Read more... ) -

This story about the governor just keeps getting crazier and crazier. I'm not sure what the national media's fascination is with the story, but it brings back my wonderful memories of living in SC.

Water blahs
I've been trying to drink more water in my overall effort to get healthy. Water, however, can be pretty boring after awhile So, I took a suggestion from my sister and added a bit of lemon juice or lime juice (or both!) to my water. Delicious! And less boring. -
Back on the reading rainbow
This year has been jam packed so far. When I was in law school and even when I was studying for the bar, I managed to read a pretty significant amount for my own pleasure. A much needed vacation
I decided about six weeks ago that I needed a break from work. I feel like I've been killing myself, working extra hours every week and traveling a lot. I probably chose a bad week, looking at what I have coming up, but so be it.
