I am shuttling my butt and the kitties to Augusta today. Just what I need. More car time. At least it's only about 85 miles to my parents' house. I'm just weary of being in the car. And Monday we're leaving for Chattanooga to visit grandparents and coming back Tuesday. Yesssss! More car time. I love my family. But we should not ride in

It's going to be hell with all of us in the car together. Not because of the sisters; I think more of it gets started by the parental units and Baby Bro. Not looking forward to roughly 4-1/2 hours of "family bonding" Monday and Tuesday. Maybe we should pack the vodka?

Advise: get rechargeables. You will go through batteries like cheap toilet paper with a digital camera.

He's right. Rechargeables are the way to go. Coppertop Duracells are completely useless. Energizer Lithiums work really well, too.

awesome. thanks guys. i was looking on the web and apparently i can get a memory card thing to plug into the laptop so i don't have to directly plug my camera in, which apparently wastes battery power. so i'm gonna keep my eye out for one of those, maybe.

hey kids remember i'll be coming in midway during the trip... tons of fun! besides you two lovely ladies (litteach and aya1081) can always spend the last 1.5 hrs of the return trip home with me in my tbird. so there i helped out a little.
