I don't understand why all these news outlets are jumping on the steroids aspect of the Chris Benoit story and not discussing any of the allegations of family violence. Is steroids a sexier story or something?
remember when freaking congress had hearings on steriod use a couple of years ago? no one wants to deal with issues that actually affect a lot of people b/c that would make everyone uncomfortable. that's why there's so much hype about internet sex predators and whatnot when most abuse is actually within families.
i think that fact that i'm dealing w/ victims of domestic violence at my job makes a bit more sensitive. but this seems like a perfect time to say something about the issue.
