I lost my trial today. I was a little upset afterward. I felt like I was on the right side of the law, maybe with less than desirable facts, but dire consequences for my client if we lost. So, it was a little heartbreaking. I do feel like I did the best I could with the situation given to me, so there's that to comfort me. And I got to throw ( Read more... )

I'm sorry, that sucks. What was your case about? Are you going to appeal?

My case was a dispossessory. My client lived in public housing with a ton of kids. I might have an appealable issue, but I'm not sure and I don't know if it's worth appealing. She has received a second termination letter during the course of this case, so she could be bounced out on that while the appeal is pending, I think.
