In light of a conversation Britt and I had this morning, I'm just wondering -- who else had to learn line-dancing in P.E. class in school? Is this just a southern thing? A Georgia thing?

I had to learn line-dancing at Parker Mathis Elementary School, Valdosta GA. that and tinikaling (sp?)

the name of your school sounds familiar. i dunno why.

it's the school on the back side of Remerton. it's in Valdosta but it's a county school. weird.

we had to square dance at Lake Park Elementary. DAMN THEM ALL!!!

We square danced in Connecticut. It was awful.

You know, i only learned square dancing in sc...and only line dancing in GA...starange....but southern.

i grew up in the bama, where the square and line dancing were both taught, respectively, but both began being taught at times i was leaving said schools ( square in elementary, line in middle).....in my p.e. classes i just balled like a muh fuckha, taking sucka's to truesville and whatnot....holla!
