I have often looked forward to this day. Although I am not one to put much stock in days and often discard the significance of my birthday, I have not found my teenage years to be especially enjoyable and so, in spite of my general attitude, I have looked forward to turning twenty and no longer being a teenager. Glad to hear everything's better, you old hag. I kid with the last part of the statement of course, and sorry for accidentally calling you earlier.

Haha, that's so cool! That reminds me of a cake my mother made for me once, I think for my eighth or ninth birthday. She intended to make a train cake, but she ran out of icing to decorate it, so I played with it and turned it into a train wreck. It was pretty clever, hee.

well, a belated happy birthday!
I'm sorry to hear things haven't gone that well though. I am really sorry to hear about your Mum (haven't got to previous entries yet, so am not sure if you explained what happened) but in any case, I sure do hope she recovers fully soon.
and again, good luck with the move.

Thank you! Unfortunately, we've got little explanation of what's happened to my mother yet, she just has suffered from some sudden, terrible stomach pains, though today the doctors seem to have gotten much closer to a diagnosis. I'm hoping she can be discharged from hospital tomorrow so she can get some rest at home.
