You did not just ask that.

See, I have basically lost all interest in maths. I am very talented at that field, my results from grades eight and nine clearly show I am remarkably gifted at that, and I could be achieving very highly if I applied myself and was willing to give up my time to practice. Thing is, I have totally lost interest. I could come up with all kinds of reasons to try to justify that, though I don't see what purpose it would serve and it's not particularly relevant anyway. I just no longer have any desire to pursue mathematics. It has utterly no relevance to my life or chosen career path, and I think my presence in the class is becoming little more than a distraction.

When I began our first unit on calculus, I was actually mildly interested ... and then the interest quickly wore off when I realised it's a pretty useless and inane branch of mathematics, at least for me. So do you HAVE to choose either calculus or physics, with no other options? Wow, I'd hate that so much.

Haha, really? That's great! You so have to upload some photos of that.

'I think we win the dork awards!'I think we most certainly do! A couple of times, Mum's picked me up from school and I've thrown my bag into th back of the car, only to hear U2 on the radio. The response is automatic. I throw myself in the front, crank the radio up loud (even though Mum's already turned it up) and then smirk at everyone as we ( ... )
