I got to know your Ratchet better over the past month. Again, I am not very familiar with IDW, but I get a sense now of Ratchet's personality, and then after his alteration, his struggle to maintain his former sense of self.

In the past month, I was able to see your three characters and to have Slipstream interact with Dirge. One thing I want to say is that I noticed you happened to take some of my advice from the last HMD. For example, with Pinkie Pie's 'Pinkie Sense'. I am glad you chose to give my suggestions a try.

Dirge's involvement in the Starscream death plot, I felt, was handled well. He was desperate to attain every last thing his creator could give him.

I remember reading a log between Hot Rod's and Wing. It's like a sitcom in that apartment. Trixie might have to steal their energon to cause some more shenanigans.

But seriously, Hot Rod is suitably arrogant and brash.

I got to say a bit about Grimlock last HMD. I've noticed him in threads this past month, but I don't really have new crit or comments.

Topspin is new. I was able to read his entry post. I was there with Trixie. And I also read Topspin's log with Magnum. I'm not overly familiar with the IDW or Wreckers comics, but from what I read in the comm here, Topspin is giving other characters some of his backstory. That lets the characters get to know him, but also helps players, like me, understand in an OOC way, where he is coming from.

I also noticed that in logs his direct thoughts are presented in italics. That's something I've tried, for Stormer, but I'm overall undecided about. If I use italics or emphasis for thoughts, then I would need some other formatting to show verbal emphasis in dialogue. Slipstream, for example, needs emphasis on words. Do you find your formatting easy to work with?

I actually tend to try and change my formatting depending on who I'm threading with. If it's [Thoughts] Speech [Thoughts] or more in actual prose, I'm fairly comfortable with both. Quotation marks around the actual speech should help minimize any italics issues.
