Summary: The two have finally agreed on an action plan against the mutant plants. However, they still haven't agreed on who's fault it was.

[continues to soar like a vast, predatory bird.]

It's between his jobs. Really, that's his only excuse for the matter. He likes to keep busy, and the next job he has lined up won't happen for another few megacycles.

With a grumble, he flies into the air. Quite honestly, he looks like a combination of a star hopper and a manta ray.

Anyone not knowing better, of course, would consider this very odd.

[This is Depth Charge. What do you need done, Jetfire?]

[Depth Charge! Good to hear from you] Jetfire communicated back. [For now the compound's fences are keeping the plants within this area, but I detect signs of stress on the structure. I'm afraid its integrity won't last for long. If you see any plants starting to escape, stop them at all costs. They cannot be allowed to escape.]

A pause.

[Did you ever attempt to drown them?]

Ugh. Far too cheerful. Depth Charge is halfway tempted to block him out from the comlink. The manta simply forces back his grumblings and puts up with this. It's something to do.

[I can take care of that.]

The manta starts off to scout the area.

[Hm? Yeah. The energy discharged in the water. It took them a full solar-cycle to drown, though.]

Starscream's thread

Starscream hovers in the air waiting for the waiting for the right opportunity to take out the plants. Of course he opted for this job as the other one was just too Autobot-like for his liking.

"This better work..." He mumbled to himself and waited.

Chromia had no idea what she was walking in to when she arrived to this...place. The only one she'd met that she thought she knew had been Ironhide, but it wasn't the right Ironhide. Naturally. All this talk of different worlds and universes made her processors ache; so she decided that just...getting out and away for a bit would do her good. Her Elita wasn't here, none of the femmes were, so Chromia had no one to report to at the moment.

So, to Zone 2 she goes!

And oh, look. Sentient, man eating plants. Isn't this fun.

What the hell was wrong with this place?

It doesn't take long for her gun to come out, and start shooting at the plants.

Starscream had been waiting for Jetfire to make sure they were all contained when he spotted the femme down below. He didn't recognize her and for a second he wondered if it was that Arcee one he had been speaking with ... since he never did find out what she looked like.

Flying down he transformed and landed near the female transformer.

"Well hello there." He spoke smoothly. "Do you require any assistance?" He asked. He could play the nice part when he wanted to.

It was then that he took note of her symbol. Autobot. There seemed to be quite a few Autobot females around lately. He found that rather interesting.

Chromia has her back to him, and as soon as the last plant was felled she turned to answer.

"Nah, I've got this under cont--" Her voice cut off abruptly as she saw just who had addressed her. Oh, what the slag. Her day just got worse and worse.

Instead of waiting on him to shoot at her (as he was wont to do, their last encounter had been less than friendly) she decides to just shoot first, then (maybe) ask questions later.

So, here, have some bullets aimed at you, Starscream.
